Yes, Pope Francis is encouraging civil disobedience, leading a rebellion. Listen closely, Francis knows hes inciting political rebellion, an uprising of the masses against the worlds super-rich capitalists. And yet, right-wing conservatives remain in denial, tuning out the popes message, hoping hell just go away like the Occupy Wall Street movement did.
Never. Americas narcissistic addiction to presidential politics is dumbing down our collective brain. Warning: Forget Bernie vs. Hillary. Forget the circus-clown-car distractions created by Trump vs. the GOPs Fab 15. Pope Francis is the only real political leader that matters this year. Forget the rest. Heres why:
Pope Francis is not just leading a Second American Revolution, he is rallying people across the Earth, middle class as well as poor, inciting billions to rise up in a global economic revolution, one that could suddenly sweep the planet, like the 1789 French storming the Bastille.
Unfortunately, conservative capitalists Big Oil, Koch billionaires, our GOP Congress and all fossil-fuel climate-science deniers are blind to the fact their ideology is on the wrong side of history, that by fighting a no-win battle they are committing suicide, self-destructing their own ideology.
The fact is: The era of capitalism is rapidly dying, a victim of its own success, sabotaged by greed and a loss of a moral code. In 1776 Adam Smiths capitalism became Americas core economic principle. We enshrined his ideal of capitalism in our constitutional freedoms. We prospered. America became the greatest economic superpower in world history...

Nice going Pope.
The west has already ceded to Islam demographically, but holds onto technological and economic advantage.
Now, El Popo wants to cede that as well.
Tell us, what happens when Christianity is stamped out by Muslims?
Yeah, I didn’t check the author, but by about the 4th paragraph, I was saying to myself: “who is this commie turd and why did someone post him to FR without a barf alert?”
Well, that’s a tricky question. There were Popes that were deposed, but they’re not officially regarded as legitimate Popes, they are called “anti-Popes”.
Of course, it’s very convenient if you can declare someone an “anti-Pope” retroactively. Kind of like annulling a marriage. No need for a divorce if you can just say the marriage wasn’t legitimate to begin with.
Ok. Sounds good. I’m not Catholic so I can’t say anything, other than ask politely, but there are plenty of good Catholics out there. So who’s going to get the ball rolling?
Should be interesting in september.. sanhedran.. Pope in philly.. blood moons. Vote on surender to iran. Football season.
Well, I don’t know, but since you asked I’ll say it like this:
1) Never, ever unnecessarily excerpt. It’s disrespectful to FReepers who donate to pimp sites that drive traffic away. No only excerpt when it’s a news source that is in the Excerpt Only list.
2) Where to post this? I hate to give this “article,” as it were, the dignity of suggesting where it can go, but let’s analyze. “Market Watch” sounds like a blog about economics, but reads like one of those goofy doomsday end-times blogs. So, News? No. Religion? Maybe, but I woudn’t dignify it with that designation. Chat? Nah, still too goofy. So, Bloggers is all that is left.
Now, does this thread fall under the cease and desist order against Catholic-bashing? That’s not for me to say. Not a fan of this Pope, but I think I’d send the Pope and the blogger to the same purgatory.
Rather than overthrow him I think you are going to see a stampede for the exits.
Our church bulletin recently carried some graphs showing steep declines in Mass attendance. For the first time in my memory “outflow to evangelical churches” was mentioned as a factor.
That’s good news.
People better hope it is a physical mark-then they can see it.
Because scripture says God’s sign/seal on His people is placed in the same place as the beast’s mark- on their foreheads and on their hand (Deuteronomy 6:6-8)
And nobody has any marks on their foreheads or hands for our eyes to see yet- so maybe it won’t be physical mark either.
But scripture says Israel was to bind them on their own forehead and on their own hands.(again deuteronomy 6:6-8)
What was ‘them’? His Commands.
That was the sign to show obedience to Him and His Commands.
Revelation 13 is interesting. A battle plan for the enemy:
There are four of His Commandments (if one studies close) in there that are broken by the enemy that he causes the world to break, also.
The first four (which deal with worship) which would mean that what God said in Deuteronomy 6 for His peoole to observe and do His Commandments, would be under attack in the time of the beasts.
Quite a different feel to Revelation 12,13,14 when one sees a spiritual battle over who owns you and your worship, and how His Commandments are central to the battle over ownership of each and every person. And why satan set his sites on being like the Most High-to be worshipped.
Those sealed have the Father and Son’s name and will be followng His Commands- with them on their forehead and on their hand.
Or marked as Satan’s property, not following His Commands. Having the mark of lawlessness.
Not as sellable as left behind movies but I read scripture a little differently than I used to and for that, I thank Him!
Many of us former Roman Catholics have found greener pastures in Bible Churches. As long as a church follows God’s Word, they tend to do well! ;-)
Francis’ election probably wasn’t legitimate, but we’re stuck with him (just as we have been stuck with Obama, who didn’t even meet the basic legal qualifications to be President of the US). But who exactly is going to challenge it now?
This Pope is, in my opinion, an idiot. He’s an ill-intentioned idiot, because he sees the Papacy and the entire world as being all about him, and he will do anything and crush anyone to assert what he sees as his right to do exactly whatever he wants. He’s not an intelligent man, but he is a crafty one - and also a very cruel and ruthless one. ANd sadly, I don’t think there’s any way to remove him.
But I do think the air is running out of his tires; I’ve heard that attendance at things at the Vatican, such as the audiences, is way down and that even in Latin America, the crowds were often very sparse. Nobody wants to be part of his leftist project, and I seriously think a schism is on the way.
What is actually happening slow-motion, is that we are turning into Argentina. Bad news.
Argentina’s economic cycles are as follows: Socialism, until they run out of other people’s money, then brief periods of capitalism morphing very quickly into cronyism and corruption, bring back socialism for yet another try. Repeat process.
Politician Pope Francis sets World policy on Climate Agreement....
.... told the gathering of 60 World Mayors meeting for 'climate agreement' at Vatican City....... "You are the conscience of humanity."......the final declaration signed by all 60.... calls for financial incentives to transition economies from using fossil fuels to low-carbon and renewable energies and to ..."shift public financing away from the military to "urgent investments" in sustainable development", .....with wealthy countries helping poorer ones.

Insightful!
Hey, maybe I get to be the guy who puts the Beast down! Somebody, prior to His return, gets to put a sword into the Beast...hard!
I’m Catholic. Pope Francis is totally off the Rez and American Catholics are aware of it. He’s old and will die soon and we will get a new Pope.

LOL! My guess is that it will be an Israeli...right after the first beast breaks his 7 yr agreement with Israel (Daniel 9)
