Donald Trump is just so heartless for criticizing Rick Perry.

...”Note Cruz in his wisdom is not crapping on Trump

McCain has openly beat up Cruz

Now McCain is getting shove back

Tough titty”...

McCain called all of us who support Trumps’s right to tell the truth “crazies and bigots.” However, anyone who has read the attacks on Trump would not know that part. Additionally, it is tragic when any military person is taken hostage. However, that act, outside of a personal record of bravery and courage prior to being captured, hardly makes someone a hero. I know that what we read online may be fabricated, but, yesterday I read a posting by an “Active duty Marine” who listed McCain’s military record. If true, it was not flattering. We, as citizens, have a right to judge the records of those who represent us in government and, years ago, I stopped admiring John McCain. I will choose Trump to be on my side, any time, over McCain and all of those who are trying to destroy him. Just remember, some would destroy their Mother’s if they thought that would gain them more power to enslave this population. What a lovely coalition for America...The Huffington Post, the NY Times, the WAPO, the WSJ, the National Review (which I receive) and other PC media, and nearly all those running for the Presidency on the Republican side. I think Ted Cruz, Dr. Carson and Marko Rubio are the only holdouts. Be not dismayed, though, a good cleansing might be a positive thing.

FIFTEEN years as governor and he finally deployed the Texas National Guard to the border last year. Well, color me impressed...

Meanwhile on another thread here at FR:

McCain is war hero. Period.

Unless, of course, he’s a threat to Democrats and Barack Obama — as he was in September of 2008 as the Republican nominee for president. Then the man whose honor is suddenly being defended by outraged Establishment figures from both parties and the media was no longer a war hero. No, back there in the fall of 2008 McCain was being savaged as a mean SOB with an uncontrollable temper — a man who threatened to physically strike a wheelchair-bound, oxygen-dependent mother of a missing Vietnam serviceman. When he wasn’t busy causing another woman to be slammed into a wall. And that’s all well aside from using a Senate hearing to torment a third woman — a witness for the families of missing servicemen — with such open prosecutorial-style contempt that the woman was reduced to tears.

snip

At the time the McClatchy story was published I can find no stories reporting that then-Texas Governor Perry found McCain’s behavior in threatening to physically assault a wheelchair-bound mother of a missing service man as, in Perry’s words about Trump, making McCain “unfit to be Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces” and no stories that had Perry demanding McCain “withdraw from the race for President.”

Now how is Perry NOT being a hypocrite in his criticism of Trump?

And yet most everyone is fine with the lip service ploy from their favorite elected candidates.

Exactly. I’m sure we’ll feel differently about Trump’s comments once he shows us HIS military background.

Oh, wait...

How many Perry-owned hotels are being constructed by illegals?

Rick Perry said anyone who doesn’t want to give in state tuition breaks to illegals attending college “doesn’t have a heart”

Go away Rick RINO, you suck.

I don’t think you are going to get much traction defending McCain, whose true story is now coming out. This country has paid dearly for his POW status by virtue of the fact that being a POW is what made him a U.S. Senator.

From that position he has spent years damaging this country and playing on the sympathies of this nation with a war story that was 2/3’s lies.

I hope Kelli Ward cleans his clock.

That is exactly why McCain is now saying he wants this conversation over with. It’s not because he is being humble and playing the victim. It’s because he doesn’t want any more information being brought forth about his POW status, and stories about what really happened during his stay at the Hanoi Hilton. He wants it to remain hidden.

Well, that’s just too bad, McNasty. This is going to be fodder in the primary race against him, as well. Sometimes when you kick over a hornets nest, you get more than you bargained for.

Not defending McCain, he can do that himself.

Trump is a loose cannon and YOU KNOW that he would restate what he said, if he could but he can’t.

It’s what he does: shoot off his mouth without thinking.

Stepping in, when the Feds fail to act, is precisely what Article I, Sec. 10, of the Constitution authorizes. Governor Perry did what was right there. His gratuitous attack on another candidate, who is now supporting Texan security in a harder hitting manner than Governor Perry, is not justified.
