Scott Walker tells undocumented worker that immigrants must follow the law

PLAINFIELD, Iowa — As presidential hopeful Scott Walker toured a farm in this tiny town where he lived as a child, he was confronted by an undocumented worker from Mexico who is living in Wisconsin and demanded to know why Walker does not support President Obama's plan to give temporary status to some undocumented workers, including parents of children who were born in the United States.

"We're a nation of laws," Walker, the Republican governor of Wisconsin, repeatedly told Jose Flores, 38, who was joined by two of his four children, Luis, 7, and Leslie, 13, who had tears rolling down her cheeks throughout the exchange. Flores, who lives in Waukesha and works for a medical supply factory, said he and his wife live in fear of being deported and separated from their children, who he said were all born in the United States.

"My point," Walker said, "is that you have to follow the law, follow the process."

Both this Mexican fellow and his employer were outed in a crime, live, on camera, with thousands of witnesses. And yet nobody slapped cuffs on nobody.

Look for many more “sad Mexican” ambushes during this campaign.

"...said he and his wife live in fear of being deported and separated from their children..."

But not so afraid that he won't self-identify himself and his wife as illegals in confronting a Presidential contender, right out in front of God and everybody.

I don't buy it. These people are brazen.

Yes, I know about the anchor babies but can’t they take them back to Mexico and raise them with the parents where they belong? Where did this “breaking up a family” come from other then a lousy excuse to stay here?

Not sure if Mexico has some law that makes it impossible for American citizen kids to grow up in Mexico.

No need to break up families. Tell Illegal Mom and Dad to take them back to Mexico, where they would have been born if their parents weren’t criminals.

This smells like a set up Just a little too pat. Maybe Brad Dayspring cooked this up hoping to strengthen Walkers waffling position on immigration. Didn’t work.

The ‘anchor baby’ is a perversion of the 14th....it has NOTHING that needs changing.

It only requires the Will to read, understand and FOLLOW (which most in the current field refuse to do....But if a CITIZEN were to break a Law...)

Walker, as the highest official in the State, has already shown his...lack of attention

Let’s define ‘terribly wrong’, shall we?

What doesn’t fit in that description, IYO?

- Identity theft
- Mail fraud
- Tax fraud (EITC)
- Depression of wages
- Depression of property values
- Gangs, drug mule, leaving scene of accident (high and/or drunk)
- School/hospital $$ theft
...

The major medical equipment supplier in Waukesha is GE Healthcare. So they are knowingly employing illegals?

That was my question. Of course they could have been lying about everything — name, employment, etc.
