CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- The family of the man who killed four Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga said in a statement that their son suffered from depression and was not the person they knew.
"There are no words to describe our shock, horror, and grief," said the statement, provided Saturday to the Associated Press by a lawyer representing the family of Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez. "The person who committed this horrible crime was not the son we knew and loved. For many years, our son suffered from depression. It grieves us beyond belief to know that his pain found its expression in this heinous act of violence."

Ah yes. Forgot about CAIR at the time I posted. It’s evident somebody got to the family with Democrat talking points. Trying to add some ammo to the leftist confiscation of weapons from the allegedly depressed. They don’t miss a trick.
Send the whole family home! (to Kuwait)
“The F.U. Religion...”
It’s NOT a religion. It’s a repressive form of government spread under the guise of being a religion.
Nations that don’t understand that will rue the day!
There’s a long track record on what Islam is about.
Shhhh! We're not allowed to speak of that. Blame it on video games or the Confederate Flag. Or here, Islam.
And my, the Emperor's new clothes sure look fine!
If I were muslim, I’d be depressed too. All that work and no way to get to heaven.
So they hired some PR firm (or this lawyer made it up by himself) to put a spin on things.
Pretty soon, THEY are the victims...and they’ll cash in on that...
I would say he transitioned to a new depression.
A six foot deep one.
Well, hopefully now he’ll suffer from the fires of Hell.
Aw, cry me a river.
I wonder what quotes they give the the Arabic media in the middle east
“We are proud of our hero son..” or something like that
So sad.
Still, GTFO
There is no place for Islam in this country. It is violent, supremacist, racist and hateful. Islam should be treated exactly like we treat NAZISM. Heaped with scorn, ridicule, and all kinds of opprobrium.
Yes, I read that all the time on InfoWars and conspiracy sites like it. The problem is, being on the med's doesn't in any way mean that was what caused him to go shooting up innocent people. It could just as well be that unstable people go on meds, and more would would kill were it not for the anti-psychotics they take.
If X % of people are depressed and take anti-depressants, you can't say "well Y % of the people on those med's kill themselves therefore the prescriptions are to blame". It is just as, if not more likely, that those prescriptions prevented more depressed people from offing themselves.
Be careful ... left-wing journalists probably get half their ideas from FR, just like right-wing ones do!
I don't go to those sites. I read this sort of stuff on more mainstream sites. The problem is, being on the med's doesn't in any way mean that was what caused him to go shooting up innocent people. It could just as well be that unstable people go on meds, and more would would kill were it not for the anti-psychotics they take.
We should do a controlled double-blind experiment. Take 1000 people, give them meds, and 1000 people, give them placebos. In 20 years, we can compare the groups.
The most devious part of my plan is that the anti-gun people cannot change gun laws during that time. It will spoil the experiment. muhuhuhUHUHAHAHAHAHH!!!
If he was so depressed,he should have just offed himself.Would have saved a lot of people untold grief.
Dig deeper.Remember you have to get two dead pigs in that hole too.
And how much space do dead pigs take (besides the Muzzie killer)? What about dead small pigs? Would they suffice? There surely must be small pigs that die naturally.
I guess that a bucket of pig blood and guts would do the trick.
That, too.
