President Barack Obama on Thursday wished Muslims in America and around the world "Eid Mubarak!" or a blessed Eid, praising efforts to recognize the end of Ramadan as a holiday.
"The holiday is a reminder to every American of the importance of respecting those of all faiths and beliefs," he said in a statement that also hailed New York City's decision to add Eid to the official school calendar.

I have no problem with recognizing all religious holidays. Recognizing them and making the Federally recognized is two things.
My company used to prove three floating holidays. Taken them for whatever moon rock you pray too.
But there should be no religious holidays as Federal Holidays. And that goes for Christmas too. Make it a floating holiday everyone can take.

Just saw on Judge Jeannine, the WH is not flying the flag half-staff for the tragedy this past week in Chattanooga; but when Nelson Mandela passed away, the flag was flown at half-staff. Enough is right and then, this holiday?
