Well, to your credit, I guess it wasn’t the clearest statement. I was trying to put more than just the word “homicide” on it and portray what this PP butchery reall is and to divest it from the conventional organ transplant process altogether. I guess I could have been more succinct.
My intent was the opposite........ many speak of disdain for the concept of abortion as murder. That can be argued, it involves intent.
My thought is simplicity, unencumbered definition.
Homicide is however a clearly defined legal term specifically related to the death of a human.
In describing the cumbersome concept of partial birth abortion as homocide both the concept of death and humanity is invoked.
In discussing the subject Rush mentioned the PP use of the term patient. The patient gave PP permission to remove the body parts. In a homocide, who was the patient? The patient was the human from which no permission was given to remove body parts from the uncrushed portions of the total.
This is going to get very interesting in determining precisely what was removed and what it was used for and was the use to save or extend human life. Ultimately, homicide produced the human tissue.
However, I concede your point. Butchery brings to mind the concept of the Nazi Joseph Mengele and his disregard for life
