Body Parts, Schmarty Parts. What’s All the Fuss About?

Why all the fuss about body parts and/or fetal tissue Planned Parenthood is allegedly selling? They aren’t human. They are fetuses. The law states fetuses aren’t alive because they aren’t considered “viable;” meaning they can’t survive on their own apart from their incubator in most gestational stages.

Even after the fetus emerges from its incubator it is still not legally protected as a child or a person. Doesn’t anyone listen to Barack Obama?

Obama clarifies any confusion about this. On March 30, 2001 he argued before the Illinois General Assembly that if a doctor is required to “have to keep alive a pre-viable child as long as possible and give them as much medical attention as is necessary to try to keep that child alive, then we're probably crossing the line in terms of unconstitutionality.”

Understand? According to Obama it’s unconstitutional to try and keep alive a non, or pre-viable fetus. (The Hippocratic Oath doesn’t apply in this instance.)

Obama explains:

"Whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the equal protection clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what we're really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a - child, a nine-month-old - child that was delivered to term. That determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place. I mean, it - it would essentially bar abortions, because the equal protection clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an antiabortion statute."

In 2006 Obama also asserted abortion doesn’t violate any moral principle.

Planned Parenthood isn’t at fault for using suction curettage or vacuum aspiration procedures either. They’re perfectly legal and safe. Physicians, even non-physicians, have been using suction and curettage methods for years, beginning in the first trimester. Suctioning out the fetus doesn’t harm the incubator and the fetus doesn’t feel being ripped apart because it’s not a human being.

The cannula (a hollow plastic tube connected to a vacuum-type pump with a flexible hose) dislodges and sucks the fetus out of the uterus into the tube—either whole or in pieces.

Next, a curette is used to scrape out anything left inside. This is followed by one last round of vacuum suction to really make sure no pieces like a foot or head are left inside. After all of the contents are suctioned into a jar they are examined to determine if they adequately represent the correct amount of fetal parts and tissue correlated to gestational estimates.

Gays and transgender people can participate as well, in simulated procedures offered at gay abortion “spas”. They can pay to pretend to be human incubators who choose not to allow anything to grow in their non-uteruses and undergo a simulated procedure to remove nothing from their bodies. It’s unclear if Jeb Bush’s communication’s director Tim Miller or any of his other gay activist staff members have tried it. But according to national news reports, gays are raving about it.

Don’t be angry with Planned Parenthood. One of its founding treasurers who helped launch its first national fundraising campaign in 1947 was Prescott Bush, father of former President George H. Bush and grandfather of George W. Bush and former governor Jeb Bush. The Bush Dynastic legacy has long been involved with reproductive rights and family planning.

Prescott Bush was a prominent leader in the "Birth Control Society," which after various name changes became Planned Parenthood. His son, George H.W. Bush’s nickname in Congress was “Rubbers.”

It’s no secret that Prescott’s daughter-in-law Barbara has publicly supported pro-choice positions and contraception use, as does his grand daughter-in law Laura. Even former First Lady Barbara Bush kept her miscarried fetus in a jar.

George H.W. Bush was a staunch advocate of government regulation and involvement in “family planning.” In Congress in 1968 he asserted, “We need to make family planning a household word.” In 1991 he publicly addressed Congress referring to a “new world order,” which includes family planning on a global scale.

After all, he had learned from his father who supported advocacy campaigns designed to control family size as part of the war effort. (It was only until he was tapped as Reagan’s Vice President that as a job requirement he had to publically change his position and politically oppose abortion, contraception, and Planned Parenthood.)

To be fair, the Bushes aren’t alone. In 1946, more than 3,000 Jewish and Protestant clergymen publicly supported Planned Parenthood. In the 1950’s men primarily interested in population control ran Planned Parenthood (their efforts were a smaller version of those financed today by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation). Even Barry Goldwater was an active supporter, and his wife was a Planned Parenthood board member in Phoenix.

Body part, like stem cells, should at least be used for something. The U.S. government is funding far worse.

Like Iran, America’s sworn enemy.

And ISIS (the “Junior League, non-Islamic group” partially trained and funded by U.S. tax dollars and debt), which is using U.S. military weapons, ammunition, communications and transportation to commit widespread genocide against mostly Christians (in the name of Allah). Genocide is certainly one method of population control.

Where’s the outrage or political will to stop funding ISIS and Iran and protect Christian refugees?

ISIS isn’t selling body parts. Yet they’ve received far more resources from the U.S. than Planned Parenthood has.

ISIS is selling whole bodies. Living “viable” bodies.

Living “viable” bodies of mostly 9 year-old girls and younger.

Living girls are repeatedly sold in slave bazaars. For less than $200.

Where’s the outrage and political will to rescue the living?

Actually fetuses don't become persons until they become able to vote a straight Democratic ticket.

This status begins at age 18 and ends at death, except in Chicago and some parts of the northeast, where it can continue practically forever.

Shouldn't require saying: /s

My intent was the opposite........ many speak of disdain for the concept of abortion as murder. That can be argued, it involves intent.

My thought is simplicity, unencumbered definition.

Homicide is however a clearly defined legal term specifically related to the death of a human.

In describing the cumbersome concept of partial birth abortion as homocide both the concept of death and humanity is invoked.

In discussing the subject Rush mentioned the PP use of the term patient. The patient gave PP permission to remove the body parts. In a homocide, who was the patient? The patient was the human from which no permission was given to remove body parts from the uncrushed portions of the total.

This is going to get very interesting in determining precisely what was removed and what it was used for and was the use to save or extend human life. Ultimately, homicide produced the human tissue.

However, I concede your point. Butchery brings to mind the concept of the Nazi Joseph Mengele and his disregard for life

Thanks. I just strongly feel that we cannot let these butchers hide behind the whole transplant process as an obfuscation. That is their way. They are doing it with illegals and pawning off that subset into the overall immigrant meme.

They do this because their arguments and actions don’t stand by themselves.

as long as we’ve got to fight to protect a woman’s right to make her own choices about her own health,

But see as a woman I don't get to make health choices anymore. Now with the new food labeling and "bad for you" food regulations, and toilet regulations and light bulb regulations, the only choices the democrats support is kill your babies.

I am being forced to purchase a health care policy that includes maternity, driving the policy up astronomically, and I don't need maternity, or contraceptives or abortion. But I don't get to "choose" those options, the government already chose for me and I will be punished by the IRS if I do not comply.

The party of choice, give me a break, the only choice they want you to have is kill your baby. Remember how they demeaned Sarah Palin for not killing her down syndrome baby? It was her choice to keep it, but the feminist's say the only choice is "kill your babies!"

“Don’t you know anything?”

That’s what they all say. (Thanks for that nice large sarcasm S.)

It’s a fact that “fetuses” respond to outside stimuli while in the womb.

The ghouls, against all reality, deny it in order to make convenience the order of the day. (Not to mention the convenience of liberal men who use women for recreation.)

IMHO

If someone is going to argue for or against abortion, one has to consider the entity inside a woman one minute prior to coming out fully formed as a member of society with rights and protections applied.

If an egg cell splits into two cells after fertilization, are those two cells capable of pain? Most people would say not.

So, we have two ends of a spectrum as it relates to abortion:

On one end of the scale, an egg cell splits in two and begins the journey towards the other end of the scale which is a fully formed, ready for life human being, one minute before it enters this world.

The fact that proponents of late term abortion will argue that there is no difference between those two ends of the spectrum tells you all you need to know about this situation: making those two ends of the spectrum exactly the same from the perspective of a baby inside a woman should tell you it is a political parameter, not a scientific, medical, religious, or moral parameter.

We all know it is a political parameter. And that pretty much tells us all we need to know.

A close member of my family is a scientist in a cancer research facility. The scientists are required to anesthetize the mouse fetus prior to extraction for testing because after about the midpoint of gestation, it is believed that they feel pain. Isn’t it odd that a mouse fetus is seen in higher regard than a human fetus?

Absolutely. (Not to mention despicable.)
