10 days is an awfully short internship.

It wasn’t the internship he failed - he failed the background check, which wasn’t completed when he started. He was only there about ten days, until the check was completed, and the company said he was never near the reactor during that time.
They didn’t say why he failed the check - but my question is why a private company could find him suspicious while DHS suspected nothing?
