Donald Trump isnt afraid to say what needs to be said. Now the billionaire, television personality and presidential aspirant has a straightforward message for Christians.
The Christians are being treated horribly because we have nobody to represent the Christians. Believe me, if I run and I win, I will be the greatest representative of the Christians theyve had in a long time, Trump said in a recent interview.
In the midst of persecution in the Middle East by Islamic extremists and persecution at home by liberals who would take away the freedoms of religion and expression, Christians need a champion. The other U.S. presidential wannabes have largely failed to address directly the state of Christianity in the world. Trump is filling that void.
In the same interview, Trump criticized the Obama administration for its anti-Christian immigration policies. He exposed Obama for allowing Muslims who live in Syria to come to the United States while blocking the Christians in Syria.
I learned this weekend that if youre a Christian living in Syria you cant come into this country. Yet, if you are a Muslim living in Syria, who are not under attack, they can come in. We have Christians being beheaded all over the world by ISIS. In Syria and in Iraq, in particular, those Christians cant come into this country, he said.
And with such comments, the Trump bandwagon continues to take on passengers. David Brody of CBN is encouraging evangelicals to support the business magnate.
Trumps ability to cut through the clutter and paint the world in absolutes attracts quite a few evangelical voters. Remember, evangelicals hold true to their biblical absolutes, so to see a person like Trump let it rip and tell it like it is becomes a somewhat endearing quality to some evangelicals. Trump takes hits for his boldness, and evangelicals take hits from society for their biblical boldness, too, stated Brody (H/T Shoebat.com).
In other words, while other candidates hem and haw, afraid of saying something that might antagonize potential supporters or raise the ire of a biased media, Trump blasts ahead and lays it on the line.
He may not be the most eloquent speaker, but Trump is capturing the imagination of Americans. That has made him an early front-runner in the race to the White House.
If you are inspired by Donald Trumps willingness to reach out to Christians, please share this article with others on Facebook and Twitter who believe Christianity has been disrespected and minimalized by Obama in particular and liberals in general.

AND?
THAT makes this article rather dated.
.......................................
Dated? Why? He won’t get to run for president unless he wins the primary. He is now, at this moment running to be the candidate chosen by the Republican party. Given that the Republican E’s choice is Bush and everybody knows it,he is taking it one step at a time. I don’t see the problem with his wording.
Good to know—thanks for confirming!
Who knows what kind of judges Trump would appoint—he seems semi-lib to me still.
But I’d prefer him to anybody else on the “right” at this point since Cruz is an amnesty backer.
Ok lets give to Cruze, Rubio, huckster etc.
Why does Trump stating with specificity resonate while the others do not?
Others have talking about border fences and have failed.
Perhaps because the drive by media actually fears Trump?
This is a sad plight. I wish that this message would go BIG SCREEN and front page. WHY, if this is true haven;t we heard about this. It is the Christian population that is facing being exterminated, and the Muslim population poses a threat if brought to the USA? This should be a battle cry.
I’ve heard this before but I’ve never seen anything to back it up. If it is true, I will be outraged.
HUGE & SERIES is here to stay. It has gone down in FR infamy.
Trump might be just what we’re looking for, an “American Putin”.
The interview with CBN happened in May.
I love that joke. It clearly shows the mentality of today. Everything has to be guaranteed, without risk. Our forefathers are shuddering in their graves.
They pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor, and many died in poverty.
My point is that the Israelites were mandated by the Lord to go into battle to secure his will. He did not wave a magic wand to accomplish his goals.
Yes, its true. The State Department defines as refugees people who are in danger from a legally constituted government. So Christians, being slaughtered by ISIS, are not in danger from Assad or the Iraqi government, thus are not "refugees" as defined by State. ISIS supporters, though, who are being attacked by Assad and the Iraqi government, would be "refugees" and would be allowed entrance to the US.
So, yes, he is precisely correct. Muslims are allowed, Christians are not.
Trump taking votes away from Huckabee? Hilarious.
Evidently. This is the only place where I have seen it, and, with all due respect, it is tedious. I speed read posts, and I don’t like to have to back up, and I don’t, to determine if it is sarcasm, which it usually seems to be.
>>Donald Trump isnt afraid to say what needs to be said. <<
Right, no matter what he believes, has believed in the past, or will believe in the future, he isn’t afraid to say whatever needs to be said to get your votes.
Really, are intelligent people actually falling for his act. And it is an act; a pathetic one at that.
By the way, I’ve been paying close attention to the news for the past month and I think it is making me cranky.
I get what you are saying.
Despite man’s motives, His goals will be accomplished no matter what.
Jonah and Moses ran from the Lord and His Will...yet they ended up doing His Will anyways eventually.
Since when has the Gov’t (of any nation) every done the Lord’s Will?
Maybe Israel for a generation and then that fell through.
+1000

I am not doubting you and this is obscene. I wonder how so many Haitians being allowed refugee status?
>>I love that joke. It clearly shows the mentality of today. Everything has to be guaranteed, without risk.
I don’t think you get the joke. It is about the people who “trust God” and will only except miracles. They never see the hand of God in common, everyday things and people. It is supposed to remind us that God almost always works through the mundane.
Yeah, most of the time God uses people to accomplish His will.
