Wallace paid his dues and saw the error of his ways. When he left this earth, he was not the same man he was in his early years.
I have to simply laugh when Democrats of today will compare someone they do not like with Democrats of yesterday (Wallace or Jefferson Davis or the KKK).

Wallace posed a real threat to the Democrats until he was gunned down.
Caught about 1 minute (all I could take) of Meet the Press this weekend and they said the same thing, right before they discussed whether or not they should just quit reporting on him altogether so he’d go away.
Here is a real target for Trump, instead of Trump wandering off into the details of the illegal immigration debate he should be attacking the Cultural Marxist scold scum bags like Hunt who make civilized debate impossible.

Yup. I looked it up. George Wallace was indeed a DemocRAT. I’m sure Mr. Woodruff meant to point that out.
I heard that al hunt, hunts for illegal little boys for pleasure. Nasty bastard.
Trump is not a conservative. OTOH, he is not a statist-liberal.
Trump is a business man and capitalist.
I don’t particularly like him, but here are a couple of big selling points for Trump:
1. He has never served in political office and did not amass his fortune by trading political favors with other politicians.
2. He is independently wealthy and owes no party or donors anything. He is not doing this to get rich.
3. That allows him to pretty much tell it like it is (as he sees it) without pulling any punches or trying to appease groups.
That has a certain appeal. He is pretty liberal on social issues. I don’t know that I can vote for him. But, on economic and domestic issues, he is a force no matter what idiots like Al Hunt conjure up.
The media despise him because he owes them nothing at all and does not how-tow to them.
