Gavin McInnes: Trump is a Snow Plow Who Will Move Out and “BOOM! Ted Cruz, President!”
The PJ Tatler ^ | July 12, 2015 | Paula Bolyard, associate editor

Clearing the field.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Appearing on the “Greg Gutfeld Show” Sunday night, Gavin McInnes made a bold prediction about GOP candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.

But first, he explained the reason Trump is so popular. McInnes said, “He’s proud to be an American. He’s sick of pretending that illegals are wonderful people. And that’s a good thing because it’s sort of rattling modern America and getting non-voters out to the polls.”

But he said that Trump will eventually move out to make way for the eventual Republican nominee — and future POTUS:

“Now don’t be scared,” McInnes said. “[Trump's] not going to actually become the president. He’s a snowplow that’s paving the way. And at the last second he moves and out BOOM — Ted Cruz, President of the United States.

Some good points. We will see what happens over time. The pub establishment will hinder rather help either trump or cruz. I think the big money goes to Jeb and walker. Trump may be a flash in the pan and get pushed aside. I could see him getting ticked and going 3rd pty IMO. I don’t think he has any allegiances to anything or anyone. He said “I have no plans to run as an independent... now”. That signals a lot to me that if his ego isn’t fed by some political post he will go 3rd pty. But who knows? He didn’t do it last time. However now he is tasting some success

Yes, there is a danger there. I don't see him going back to reality TV after being loudly cheered in stadiums.

This is my view, as well. Trump will make Cruz look like a reasonable, patient centrist.

I tell you what’s going to happen.

First let’s establish a few truths.

Truth # 1

Donald Trump has a Big Mack sized Trump sized ego so he knows he won’t play 2nd fiddle to anyone as to being the
top guy running for President.

Truth #2

Donald Trump is looking passed his term in office as President, he is not getting any younger and first and foremost he to his core still is a business man.
His is looking to the future of his business and America’s economy.

Truth # 3

Even though his ego won’t let him be or play 2nd fiddle his street smarts and sensibilities tell him he won’t be President.

This is what is going to happen.

Even though his ego won’t let him be 2nd fide he will bow out gracefully after blazing a trail and being the GOP wreaking ball and take the VP spot or a nice cabinet job hopefully in a Ted Cruz administration.

Donald Trump knows since he is a businessman where businesses and the industry is placing their money and their bets on, that would be Ted Cruz.

What do you think 2nd Divisionvet on all of this happening this way ?

I DO care what Trump has said in the past. If the voting public had applied that little bit of wisdom to the 0bama campaigns, no way would he have been elected.

Trump is delivering a lot of emotional satisfaction to a very battered and discouraged “silent majority”. Does that make him a good candidate for our support? No. It should take a lot more than that.

That’s why Ted Cruz is wise not to be or trow and criticism towards Donald Trump, Trump will know he has a allied in thexGOP.

As long as Trump knows he has a allied in thexGOP and is offered the VP spot or a nice cabinet job in a administration he would balk and leave and go 3rd party, and that my friend is why Ted Cruz is keeping Donald Trump close as a allied.

2nd Disvisionvet ?

This is how it’s going to play out in the long run in the next 6 months.

Ted Cruz knows and is wise, smart enough to know that Donald Trump is creating him and Trump free publicity and plowing the trail for Ted Cruz, while Ted Cruz can focus on core issues.

Trump can keep being the XGOP or GOPX wreaking ball to build a new foundation for a new GOP conservative coalition.

Donald Trump may have a Big Mack Trump sized ego but he also has wisdom, and street smarts to know that he ain’t going to be President so he would bow out gracefully to Ted Cruz in 6 months join Ted Cruz’s team and campaign, and work hard to help get Ted Cruz elected, even giving him much needed money to top Jeb Bush’s war chest.

By Donald Trump joining Ted Cruz’s team, working hard to get Ted Cruz elected, campaigning for Ted Cruz, and topping even Jeb Bush’s money war chest is the ONLY way to beat Jeb Bush in this race.

Then later in the primaries next year Ted Cruz offers Donald Trump the VP spot or a nice cabinet spot, or being the build the wall czar and economic czar.

I meant, he won’t balk and go 3rd party on us so as long he knows he has a allied in the XGOP or GOPX.

Why do you lie? [nickcarraway]

Because he'a a paid anti-Trump shill, otherwise he would belt up and instead, as many do here, vociferously support his choice (Hillary?).

None of that makes any sense in light of you pointing out that he has a yuge ego. The VP spot represents the future of the party, it typically goes to a younger, more aggressive activist (Cheney & Biden as exceptions). Someone with a Yuge Ego wouldn’t accept the VP spot.

I think the reason that Trump is doing this is because he is starting to think of his legacy. His ego demands that he be remembered. Yes, he’s worried about the direction of this country. But this aint about the direction of the country, it is about him.

He’s one of a long line of selfish candidates. We cannot trust any of them, but at least this one can’t be bought.

It is definitely trolling. It started out with a purposeful lie to get attention then switches from topic to topic name calling and using straw men to keep up the bites.

Classic troll behavior, ez to spot. It’s an idiot and full of itself.

Amazing post. First thought through my head:

Nick Carraway is brilliant.

He’s purposely making Trump attackers look stupid by posting obviously blatant lies.

“Trump said illegals are fabulous and hard working.”

No, he said legal Mexicans are fabulous and hard working.

Not illegal immigrants.

No, we should be blaming our own government for creating a system that ensures these illegals will come here.

I agree 100%. It's hard to blame people who live in third world cities from wanting to come here when our government advertises 'free transportation and protection by the Mexican government while in transit'.

But I still don't agree with your Jeb Bush approach.

You think the Trump approach = Jeb approach ?

Actually, IMHO if they come here illegally, they should have to face the legal system if they get caught. I’m just saying that there are many who won’t be, and one has to deal with that reality.
