Appearing on the “Greg Gutfeld Show” Sunday night, Gavin McInnes made a bold prediction about GOP candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.
But first, he explained the reason Trump is so popular. McInnes said, “He’s proud to be an American. He’s sick of pretending that illegals are wonderful people. And that’s a good thing because it’s sort of rattling modern America and getting non-voters out to the polls.”
But he said that Trump will eventually move out to make way for the eventual Republican nominee — and future POTUS:
“Now don’t be scared,” McInnes said. “[Trump's] not going to actually become the president. He’s a snowplow that’s paving the way. And at the last second he moves and out BOOM — Ted Cruz, President of the United States.
The funny thing about you using Santorum is that lousy endorsements was what soured conservatives on Santorum in the first place, so he has absolutely no credibility on endorsements.
“Do you know anything about politics? Santorum was an elected republican in the House and Senate. Trump was only even registered for as a Republican for less than two years. He had no connection to the party.”
Trump wasn’t a career politician. He was a businessman building a nice capitalistic empire, not dealing in the political world. He was a doer, not a talker. And he employed thousands of people over his career.
You’re funny. I’m sure you are well aware that on any given day there are multiple threats and expressed desires by various Freepers to change parties from Pub to some 3rd Party, or to start yet another new Party. Seems a fair amount of Freepers for one reason or another are willing to, or already have changed parties. They seem to have no qualms in doing so and leaving the Pubs. I’m mighty glad Ronald Reagan decided to change parties and become a Pub, and that Trump came back into the fold to become our champion. Good.

What have you done to advance the national conversation about the crime illegal aliens have brought to our nation? (Trump and Cruz are doing that.)
How much have you given to St. Judes (Trumps: $30M plus, me some — but less than I’d like)?
How many kids’ lives have you saved? ($30M plus equals a LOT, I can only hope my small donations have helped.)
What have you done to support Sen. Cruz? Or any conservative for that matter? (I have provided cash and services.)
Have you serverd? At the cost of your own body (re: 2ndDivisionVet, who is a disabled military intel officer and whom you have also denigrated here)?
Are you a monthy donor or do you just troll here?
Have you offered any aid to this site when challenged by thugs in the real world? (I have.)
Did you have any friends die in 911? (I did.)
Have you ever stared down real evil in person and stood against it? (I have.)
Whom do you support? Apparently, noone here knows.
As for your repeated claims that I am a liar, I consider such from a troll like you to be a badge of honor.

Cruz is. Trump is interfering. Cruz had a Mexican journalist on the ropes. He got him to agree that Mexico is tougher on illegals than the U.S., but it never got exposure, because of Trump. Trump is not bringing a discussion on illegals - he is bringing a discussion on Trump.
And he's driving sympathy towards illegals. His shtick could lead to amnesty.
I'm sure I knew many more than you. I lived in that area. In my town, I can't even count the number of funerals.

maybe. I am not even sure he needs to change the content of his message so much but rather change his style to gain attention, traction and momentum.
I disagree that Trump will go 3rd party. I also disagree with the posted article, that he’s going to “move over” for Cruz. I do think (and hope) that he and Cruz develop a good relationship and that if Trump is nominated (more of a possibility than many are willing to acknowledge at this point of time), that he chooses Cruz as his VP.
Trump will destroy Hillary in the general election. I’m not sure I could say that about anyone else. Certainly not any of the RINOs. Any one of them will go down in the biggest electoral defeat in history, including and especially Bush.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe Cruz can beat Hillary either, though I refuse to speculate whether he would also lose big. I’d like to think he’d do better than any of the RINOs... but it doesn’t matter, I just don’t see him pulling off a general election win. I am open to change on that idea, but that’s where I am right now.
A third party Trump run is the thing that will screw things up more than anything. It's pretty much what I've been expecting all along.
