I think a big difference is that fact that Canada was in Iraq, too. Not so with Viet Nam. Why would they offer sanctuary to Americans who didn’t want to go to Iraq, when Canadians were there, too?

I wish you nothing but the best. However, please refrain from ever referring to yourself as a "model soldier" ever again. You did not do your duty as a soldier. You are an embarrassment to the NCO corps. You disgraced your country, your unit and your uniform.

Our Canadian allies lost men in the War on Terror. Why should they tolerate these maggots?

Why should Canada be a sanctuary for U.S. military
criminals? Are they truly political prisoners in the USA , under the threat of death and persecution as they allege?The only way that could be true these days is if they might be conservatives being persecuted by Obama.

The US armed forces are all volunteer now, no draft, unlike in the Vietnam era.

While this is good for Canada (no one want’s border jumping cowards and freeloaders infesting them), it’s not so good for the US.

We had a real sweetheart deal with Canada. Our cowards went north and in return Canadians would come south and replace our cowards in the ranks with good, solid soldiers.
