When I read “Berryessa”, I thought this was a satire piece about Obama naming something after himself.

That was what I was thinking about. I wonder if it is harder to get them off the list than on. I’m guessing that this isn’t private land they are buying - but BLM type land open to the public (and mining, etc.) that they are re-designating.

Well, look what they have done in the parks already- everything is a walkway so no one can go off the designated path. Unless you are a federal employee, of course, then you are privileged to do all sorts of things because no one ever polices them.
I get it. Grab up all the land, force us all to live in big cities, use nothing but public transportation, have to buy all of our food from China, use only gov’t provided doctors, etc.
