WHY THE REGIME PICKED ON THE CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG
AND NOT ROOF’S MANIFESTO
Because it was under threat of questioning and possible impeachment proceedings by its so called political opposition the regime needed to defer or stop any movement toward this. It was necessary to use a political device usually atrributed to Saul Alinsky but used by the nazi and commie’s like Stalin with the “Kulacks” through racial division. It created persons engaged in felonious assults on authority who were black youths into; “Victims of an evil society” (thus approving their actions) out of whole cloth.
The regime began with the Zimmerman case which resulted in a series of assults by black youths on completely innocent whites,”hispanics”, and asians who were either targeted or wandered near or through black gang infested areas. The perpetators excuse; The reported “cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin because he was black”
It led to a score or more deaths and serious injuries which were treated as local news ignored and forgotten. And it was met with silence while this was happening. Neither the locqatious POTUS or his political opposition uttered as much as a “Now!,Now! or a “tsk!,tsk!”.
Those killings were referenced by the Charleston Church massacre perpetrator in his crazed manifesto.

Naturally when it was discovered that mention of those score of murders were used in this nut cases’s “manifesto” the reaction was....“Well we can’t let that out !
Oh ! His face book has him holding a Confederate battle flag, (Which to many is simply an ensign of protest and rebellion), that must be his excuse “The Confederates made him do this horrible act ! Let’s get them !”
Well they’re doing a good job of perverting what that battle flag’s used for at the same time ignoring the regimes complicity in engendering those previous racial incidents.
However in South Carolina’s case after years of retirement except for ceremonial purposes. The battle flag was ordered to be raised above their capitol dome in the 1960’s as a protest against school desegregation by then Governor Hollings who was of course a democrat. The move was allways interpreted to be an insult to blacks. It deserved to be retired
Understandable considering he directed a bazillion federal dollars to the state.
Well, I think we should be demanding that all traces of the racist, KKK Byrd be erased from history.
It also has a lot in common with the way ISIS is destroying relics of history that they do not approve of. Moving the graves of long dead Confederate heroes is a mob-hysteria driven activity. Where does it end?
Go for it.
Keep in mind that the Left is masterful at changing it’s language and symbols in order to perpetuate their movement while off loading accrued negative connotations. Nothing illustrates this better than the transition from “Progressive” to “Liberal” and back to “Progressive” again as those terms developed then shed negative connotations over the course of 80 or so years.
IMHO the use of the ANoVA battleflag as a symbol of defiance against totalitarianism has outlived it’s usefulness. As has the Gadsden Flag. Thats just political reality. It’s time to pick a different symbol.
My suggestion would, of all things, be to appropriate the Mockingjay symbol from Hunger Games. Not only would the younger generation “get” the messaging in an instant, it would throw the Hollywood Left into an apoplectic meltdown.

I knew a friend who retired down in Florida. He came back up here for a visit. He showed us pictures of his nice brand new home and he described how they built houses in his new development. He saw the crews working on this large brand new development. He described how they worked with a factory like precision. The first crew would level the land and dig the foundation. The second crew would pour the cement, the third would frame the house, the fourth crew did the plumbing etc. As soon as a crew finished its job it would go down to the next lot and repeat the same thing all over again. This is like an assembly line. They were able to fill the whole street and the whole development at lightning speed.
This is how the South is being filled up quickly with many northerners. It isn’t only happening in the South but in California, Arizona, Cleveland Ohio and other areas. The large contractors are skewing the building trades and the demographics of the country. They build hundreds of houses at a time and they attract people from far away, even out of state to come in and change the culture.
They also destroy established neighborhoods because they are always building further out into the exurbs. Areas that have lots of easy to build on flat lands are very attractive to big builders. New homebuyers naturally prefer the newest homes with the most fashionable, latest stylings so they tend to pass up homes that have been lived in. Even houses that are just 10 years old are not as desirable as the brand new houses that no one has lived in.
The area around Cleveland has sprawled out leaving the inner core suburbs decaying and in a state of blight. Even shopping malls are abandoned. This is happening in other areas as well.
I believe that overbuilding also causes the boom and bust cycles in housing.
Southerners and people in rural areas should get together to keep overbuilding from happening. Many town leaders may want more “growth” but too much growth is not a good thing. I saw a terrible documentary about ten years ago about the suburbs of Atlanta and the debauchery among the teenagers who lived in these well to do homes. They were using drugs and having orgies. This came to light when it was discovered that some of them had syphilis. This brings to mind what Jesus said: “What good does it do a man to gain the world and lose his soul?”...or lose his children?
As far as the wimpy Southern Republicans, we are seeing how the Republican party works—it is all top down just like the Democrats. It has been this way for a long time but people just didn’t know it. Now our eyes are being opened. Boy, do we have a lot to learn!
Boy, those New Jersey Democrats know how to segregate, don’t they?
Here in NJ it is a bi-partisan effort; so many of the whites are the either the original refugees from the cities, or their descendants. Like the residents of Laketown in “The Hobbit”, they have no misconceptions about what destroyed Dale - and the dragon still looms over them.
If Roof had posed with a Rainbow flag, Charleston would have had one-day news coverage, if that.
