We know it has nothing to do with children being raised by single mothers and no father at all, liberals say so.

So I’m not really sure what happened to the black family.

Imagine a city that is, say, 95% white. Let's run an experiment with this city. Arrange it so there are no middle class jobs for anyone. No factory work, etc. Make all available work in this city part-time service jobs, if any work is available at all.
Then provide financial incentives for fathers to abandon their families, maybe $500 a month. Then provide financial incentives for mothers to have more children, at maybe another $500 a month.
Do not allow the schools to discipline troublemakers, or hold their students to high standards.
I submit that in 30 years this 95% white city would be a crime-infested cesspool.
Sure, there are other factors involved in today's Baltimores. MSM agitators, for instance. But I hope you see my point.
