Meet the Press host Chuck Todd spent several minutes Sunday morning trying to extract an answer from Senator and 2016 candidate Ted Cruz (R-TX) about what the Donald Trump-saluter proposed doing with the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country, and appeared very unhappy when he didn’t get one.

“How does Obama and Cruz fit in?”
1.) He fits in right here: “provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”
“And he is not dumb; he knows the Constitution and he knows he is not eligible to run for president.”
2.) I stated that because of the above sentence starting with “provided”

And I was specifically addressing his evasion on the t v program today.

He gave an honest answer. Cruz is not going to dictate the fate of the 11 million. That is a decision that should be decided by the people through Congress. Personally, I think there is a lot of support for prioritized, systematic deportation.

I thank you for your reasoned response. Some of these Cruz supporters need to take lessons from you. I tend to disagree, but we can all disagree about things. I am being called some horrible things right now. I am also laughing.

There you go again. When have I given the impression that I’m not? It is not something I am obsessed over. I don’t really think that I will change anything with it. I made so many post about Cruz and his two votes that I didn’t like (TPA and Iran bill) that I got tired of it. I never once mentioned his birth. The last few times, since the first time, that I have mentioned it is because one of your friends here throws it up to me in an effort to smear me when she can’t rebut what I say, which is always with her. Today, she smirked and said “own it” as if I would be too embarrassed to do so. So, I called her bluff; I have the post saved in documents where it is quickly accessible, and post it, as I did today.
The thing that got me started was when someone quoted that quote I do from the Naturalization Act of 1790 in an effort to prove that Cruz was a natural born citizen, but he purposefully left off the very last clause that says just the opposite — “provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”. I did not know what he had done at the time. So, I just happened to run across that quote, I was amazed that someone could do that, and posted it correctly. Now, you will probably see it posted again, when you or her cannot refute what I say about something, bring it up in an attempt to smear me, and claim that I am trying to hide it. I will insert it again if necessary.
