GOP worries about Donald Trump fallout
CNN ^ | July 4 2015 | Chris Moody

Washington (CNN)Republicans seeking to broaden the party's appeal to Latino voters have a challenge: Donald Trump.

The bombastic businessman, who is seeking the GOP presidential nomination, is leaving many Republicans worried about the fallout from his comments that immigrants from Latin America are "killers" and "rapists."

"Donald Trump's comments are hurtful for the cause of Republicans who want to reach out not just to Latinos but across many different ethnic barriers," said Ben Domenech, founder of The Federalist, a conservative opinion website, who co-authored a 2012 guide for Republicans on Hispanic outreach. "The problem with those comments is made worse by the fact that people will continue to confuse Trump with a Republican, which he is not, as opposed to thinking of him as an entertainer, which he is."

“If the so-called “Hispanic leaders” are griping about what Trump said, it is because their allegiance is to Mexico and not the United States.”

Their allegiance is to the Democratic Party, therefore Trump who worries them as his popularity grows, must go.

They are worried because Cruz and Trump make the GOPe look as they are weak and essentially useless.

I have yet to hear of any other candidates (maybe they have but I have not heard of it) support Trump on this issue, I suspect they want to construct a PC comment something like Trump has a right to his opinion (even that they might find fearsome), or most likely let it fade away but I won’t let it fade away we should have no use for candidates afraid to take a stand no matter how controversial the issue may be.

Cruz is not afraid to take a stand on any issue and is most often the first out the gate with what he thinks, he knows how the media and his opposition will portray or betray his position and does not fear any of them.

Trump (and Cruz) understands the Latino electorate. The GOPe does not. Legal latino immigrants are bitterly opposed to unchecked border crossing by criminals from the south.

“Now the media is turning away from taking on Trump head-on, and is trying to make the Republican Party as a whole apologize for him. Sadly, many of them will cave in to this tactic.”

I say good for them! For once the MSM can do the country a real service ( albiet unknowingly) to be “actively” helping to winnow the GOPE from the field. Trump to the right of them, MSN to the left, they’re stuck in the middle again! Someone needs to pass out Depends before the first debate. It would be a shame for any of the “real crap” to get on the stage. There will be enough bull$hit there anyway.

“...they aren’t moving into white neighborhoods, “

I spoke to a Suffolk County cop here on Long Island and he told me that one of the long time Black neighborhoods (Wyandanch)is turning illegal immigrant pretty quickly.

The ones that are out of touch are the GOP who are ignorant enough to believe that the thieves they would gift with Citizenship and handouts would ever vote Republican.
BINGO! The GOPe will never be able to out pander the RATS.

The very fact they preface their identity with “Hispanic” indicates their allegiance is to their ethnicity, and their loyalty to the Democrat Party is subordinate to that.

Sure they are, the illegals whore up their labor market, and bring crime to their neighborhoods.

Yeah, right, CNN. Headline should read: “RATS Worried As Trump Gains In Polls”.

The most busted news source employee Chris Moody's shocking full frontal noodlity (noodle: A person regarded as weak, foolish, or stupid.) The puke doesn't even have the courtesy to acknowledge the difference between legal and ILLEGAL.

Trump said some ILLEGAL immigrants from Latin America are such criminals.. too many but not all. And the too many, IIRC, is the doing of the respective Latin American governments.. kind of like how Castro's Mariel boatlift got Jimmah Carter.

Seriously! My first thought too!

Obviously, the simple, unadulterated TRUTH being spoken with a little macho and bravado is making the LEFT very nervous! CNN is in quite a state.

We are sick of women everywhere. This would include HILLARY Clinton. Imagine Trump vs. Hillary. The crazy guy may implode, but right now he is the VOICE in our house and it’s audible!

An illegal Latino can take a job from legal Latino and depress their wages
too.

Legal Latinos are smart enough to understand this.

The Democrats want to spin immigration as a racial issue, but it’s not. When I wrote that Republicans should worry about white voters, that’s true, but only because the GOPe is pandering to Hispanics at the potential cost of white votes. However, illegal immigration is unpopular, and clear majorities oppose amnesty. Yet, neither party seems willing to do anything about it.

In my opinion, Trump is a populist who has the potential to draw voters from both parties. He may also appeal to previously disaffected voters. There are issues, like immigration, that cross party lines. Cruz and Trump are the only two I know who are addressing the concerns of real Americans.

They're sure spilling a bunch of ink in their worries.

I am grateful to Trump eternally, if he does nothing more than what he has done to Date: Expose the CHASM between conservative and the GOP, in high relief.

Watching these weasels in the GOP makes we want to puke.

And that's what has them all atwitter. They are being EXPOSED as the traitors to the nation they are.

Translation.......

GOP Establishment/Globalist want to cherry pick laws, and FEAR any Republican candidate that is for the RULE OF LAW.

We either a country of laws or we are not.

The bottom line is that the GOP Establishment/Globalist cannot undermine our Republic if they follow the LAW and the U.S. Constitution.

“We are sick of women everywhere.”

Did you mean men who act like women, because that seems to be the real issue here. Seriously. I think the GOPe is testosterone deficient. The only time I see them grow a pair (sorry for the crudity) is when they attack conservatives.
