Should the 5%ish for whom the vaccine is uneffective be moved to an island as well? They are possible vectors of contagion.

That would include me, who got measles kess than a year after getting the vaccine that didn’t work. Measles isn’t going to kill off the human race people. Snap out of it. FWIW, this woman could have just as easiky died of the flu, or pneumonia, because she was immunosuppressed. People need to get a grip. on REALITY

Nothing is 100%. As Thomas Sowell says, there are no solutions, only tradeoffs. We do not live in a perfect world. People who can’t take the vaccine for medical reasons and those for whom it is not as effective, are still protected by living in the midst of a vaccinated group. It’s called herd immunity.
