Have we really reached the point where we are cheering this clown? If so, then things truly are desperate.
Personally I do not think Trump is a serious candidate but on the other hand I am one of those cheering what he's saying.
He's pinching leftists' n*ts and they're squealing like little piggies.
Clown? Really newbie quoting the liberal establishmedia? Go sell your plant somewhere else.
Pray America is waking
Desperate times require desperate measures.
We need to shake up the establishment and get rid of the crap we have now!
Sick and tired of the same old establishment.
They are.
I like Trump. He truly does speak what’s on his mind. He’s right about Nafta, Grafta, and Pufta....trade deals by puffsters seeking graft.
He’s right about open borders; it’s a highway not just for illegals but for undesirables.
And I enjoy watching while others get their pantaloons in a wad over him.
Cruz/Trump
Trump/Cruz
Yes we have, and they are
Seriously?
And “professional politicians” - people who never did a damn thing in their lives without other people’s money aren’t clowns?
What, pray tell, do you think they want when they go into “public life”?
Accolades? Personal satisfaction? Power? To do what?
To get rich and be above everyone else, that’s what.
And they can’t do it by starting a business and selling goods and services that other people want for a profit.
So Trump did that. True, he had a head start with his Daddy’s business.
So what. He came back from bankruptcy. His “act” is part of his business, genius.
So uh...think he can be bought? By who? Soros? Gates? Carlos Slim?
He has nothing but contempt for those bozos.
They used to say it about Nelson Rockefeller: couldn’t be bought. Who had the money to bribe him?
Sit back and enjoy the show. Trump is from the hardest end of Noo Yawk, and he knows when a bunch of punks are trying to get over on him. And how to take the fight right back to them.
And as for every pathetic lightweight politician with their meager “achievements” behind them, Ted Cruz here excepted, they wouldn’t hold a candle to this guy in terms of managing the government. Congress might end up hating him, but...tuff. Grow a set.
< snip>Their goal is not to tell the truth, but drum up support for the Mitch McConnell-John Boehner-Paul Ryan-Mitt Romney wing of the GOP. These are the moderate, responsible and grown-up leaders we are told America needs.< / snip>
Yeah, I suppose, because he is a clown, we should stand behind the GOP elite and Rick Perry and call Trump an anti-immigrant racist
I notice you neglected to mention any issue referenced in the article you thought were clownish.
Give it a shot, name two.
Things are desperate. Sorry if he isn’t to your taste.
“Have we really reached the point where we are cheering this clown? If so, then things truly are desperate.”
Yes, they are! Trump would not be my choice, but then so would all but one or two of the others that are running. I get fundraising requests on a daily basis from many of the current crop of candidates, Trump isn’t one of them!
I say, let him spend his money, say what he has to say, and let the voters decide. I mean with all of the GOP candidates since RR, being semi or completely worthless, we could do a lot worse than Trump if he ends up in first place. At least he wouldn’t have to steal from us to get rich like the Clintons and the Obamas.
No nobody is cheering you clown! LOL
It is not like Trump is the only clown running. Graham, Pataki, Suckabee, Christy and Jeb all strike me as being bigger clowns than Trump is. All the pundits assure us that Jeb Bush is a serious candidate. He said that illegal aliens breaking our laws to enter our country and suck up welfare benefits is an act of love. With statements like that, who is the bigger clown? Trump or Jeb? I could find similarly stupid statements made recently by all the RINO candidates. Why call Trump a clown while giving these other very stupid clowns a pass? At least Trump is telling the truth so far.

I think he brings in some fresh air, and can put the libs on the defensive.
My main worry is that, if he loses the Repub nomination, that he will do like Ross Perot did in 1992, run as an independent, split the conservative vote, and let Clinton win with a minority of the popular vote.
