Speculations include; Radical Muslims or Radical Environmentalists. Maybe the Chinese who wish to damage our ability to provide our own fiber optics material without buying from them.

Just curious. How does cutting cables "damage our ability to provide our own fiber optics material without buying from them"?

Envirowackos and anarchist groups. The muslims and Chinese would not harm their internet link in to our servers.

The muslims and Chinese would not harm their internet link in to our servers.

But they would be very interested in shutting down OUR link to our servers.

Wake up.

I readily admit it. I still don’t really understand all those ‘interweb things’. I won’t even pretend that I do. But I’m trying to imagine who or what entity would stand to benefit by such damage to our communication abilities. That was my point.

Our enemies. Same as Pearl Harbor. This is not exaggeration.

My previous response was unclear.

Communication is vital: relationships, business, especially warfare. Without it, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Can you see the damage now?

Yes, its very clear. Your comment referencing Pearl Harbor has given me something new to consider. It would be truly shocking if Japan, a presumed ally (before Obola anyway) was conspiring against us. Ever more surprising when you consider China has been harrassing Japan about the ownership of certain islands out of Chinese territory. If disabling communications was the goal, that probably would be rather simple, just very tedious. Same as disrupting power grids.

Same as disrupting power grids.

Exactly. Power grids are a form of communication: they communicate power rather than information.
