The Obama administration still hasn’t fully rescinded the 2,000 three-year amnesties it wrongly issued four months ago in violation of a court order, government lawyers recently admitted in court, spurring a stern response from the judge who said the matter must be cleaned up by the end of July — or else.
It’s the latest black eye for President Obama’s amnesty policy and the immigration agency charged with carrying it out. The agency bungled the rollout, issuing three-year amnesties even while assuring the judge it had stopped all action hours after a Feb. 16 injunction.
But they are having trouble getting some of the lucky recipients to send them back.

The office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is leading the lawsuit challenging the amnesty and who won the February injunction against the policy, didn’t respond to a request for comment on the outstanding permits.
Josh Blackman, an assistant professor at the South Texas College of Law, who has filed briefs in the case opposing the Obama administration’s claims, said he believes the administration is trying to comply in good faith with Judge Hanen’s order, but USCIS’s difficulties show how difficult managing the full amnesty would be.
“The entire nature of this case was that agents were given a free rein to approve as many applications as possible. DHS can’t keep track of its own agents and who’s being approved for deferrals and work authorization,” he said.
Mr. Obama announced the policy in order to circumvent Congress, which is moving the other direction away from legalization and toward a crackdown on most illegal immigrants.
Arrest and deport; issue contempt charges to officials who issued these permits in defiance of the court order. And, finally, how about sanctions and disbarment of the government’s attornies involved?
I hope Judge Hanen does something more than just be shocked. Hope his action has traction.
Maybe a lawsuit? A subpoena? A harshly worded letter?
Seriously, he is powerless against an outlaw regime with an army and millions of cadres.
Congress has the constitutional authority to remove lawless presidents like Obama from office but refuses to use it, thus being a accomplice to lawless Obama imo.
The 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators and a lawless president along with it.
At this point there’s so many “clear grounds for impeachment” that impeachment itself has become quite a joke. I’m sure they laugh about it all the time in the white hut.
The worst of Obama is yet to come and we can all count on that.

No state shall, without the consent of Congress, lay any duty of tonnage, keep troops, or ships of war in time of peace, enter into any agreement or compact with another state, or with a foreign power, or engage in war, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent danger as will not admit of delay.I hope they start asking for that power. I don't know how far this paragraph WITH Congressional consent can be stretched, nor for that matter how far the Compact power with Congressional consent can be stretched. But the states and the GOP out to be testing the limits because Obama can't veto this. Any objections Obama serves via the Courts can presumably be delayed somewhat. At worst this throws off Obama's timetable, the equivalent of Bastogne's "Nuts!" and inspires those desperate for any sign of fight from 'our' side. At best it prevents a significant amount of damage. Not all the states will want such powers; let the electorate notice their differing results! The only hard thing here is getting it past Boehner and McDonnell. It will be much harder for them to block if it starts as requests from Governors than from conservative members of their own caucuses.

That was the first thing I thought of. What would happen if the regime suddenly ordered the execution of all conservatives? The media slimes would approve, giving them cover. Who would do anything to stop them? The gutless old party? Not a chance. I believe this is exactly what the communist revolutionaries in the government would like to do. I think the suck bags really want a violent response, so they will have their Reichstag fire.

Hope that isn’t one of those red lines odumbo usually draws and then moves 8 or 10 times? The judge needs to change the “or else” to more like, “you will go to jail without possibility of bail”.
