Fresh off their biggest legal victory, gay rights supporters began to expand their efforts beyond same-sex marriage to a broad push to rewrite civil rights law and extend protections to other personal and financial actions.
A liberal coalition spanning gay rights groups and traditional African-American leaders turned its attention to a new legislative bid to outlaw discrimination against homosexuals in employment, housing, financial dealings and other regular actions not protected under the Supreme Court's ruling declaring same-sex marriage a constitutional right.
"You can be married on Saturday, post your pictures on Instagram on Sunday and fired from your job on Monday," Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., the lead sponsor in the House of the new legislation, said Saturday.
After Friday's ruling, Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., the sponsor of the legislation in that chamber, emailed thousands of supporters asking them to get behind the new bid because, despite the marriage decision, it is still legal in some states to "kick someone out of a diner or other public accommodation because of who they love."(continued)

Where is the fight back?
There isn’t one.
We are actively allowing the left to dominate the narrative and destroy the nation.
No one speaks up.
Yes pedophilia and bestiality and all performed in public (public parks, beaches, Main Street)is the next step in destroying America
When polite society finally snaps back, there is going to be much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
They just keep pushing and pushing...
There is corruption between the supreme court and Obama rainbow house.
Many smart people are packing a suitcase.
Expect more sickening encroachment due to several gay judges who should have been recused die to bias. It’s like having Ted Bundy as the judge in a murder case for a serial killer.
Especially when you consider that there are NO LAWS protecting normal people from being fired just for being straight. The queers are trying to create new laws for themselves so that they will become lords over everyone else.
Packing a suitcase won’t save them. This is global.

And a lot of sucking up and brown nosing
like lawyers and teachers and union members
Gay marriage remains illegal in most countries, so far as I’m aware. Western Europe and North America are not the entire world.
I’m sure there were detailed plans in place for every possible eventuality. From everything going their way to everything going against them, and all the possibilities in between.
If the ruling had been against them we’d be seeing well organized mass demonstrations and civil disobedience right now. And people would be accusing Kagan or Sotomayor of leaking the decision to Democrats. Rather than realizing that the Left is exceptional at planning and organizing.
Suitcase to WHERE?
Parts of America are still our best hope. Perhaps the CSA will rise again?
And its spreading.
Plus, those who flee aren’t going to be stopping its spread.
Wish I knew where we could go. I’ve checked out of the political process now. I’d like to just leave - period.
That’s just it. There never really was any pushback, resistance, or effort to stop the homosexual agenda in its tracks. All along the 3000 pulpits were silent on homosexuality, as they continue to be on abortion.
Now they own the legislature, the courts, the educational system, the media, and many corporate executive offices.
We’re eerily close to Revelation’s prophesy of ‘ye cannot buy nor sell lest you have the mark of the beast’. Methinks the mark is somehow related to the homosexual/abortion agenda.
Most of this is typicall liberal crap. One, you cannot be fired from a job for being a homo/lez etc. so the basic premis is complete crap. They don’t want equal footing.....they want a superior position above traditional marriage.
This has all been part of the plan. There’s more to come.
Remember what the media propagandists said when Lawrence v. Texas was decided? That there IS no homosexual agenda?
Slippery slope, here it is.
