COLUMBIA, South Carolina — The Confederate flag has been temporarily removed from in front of the South Carolina Statehouse.
An unidentified black woman was about halfway up the more than 30-foot steel flagpole just after dawn Saturday when State Capitol police told her to come down. Instead, she continued up and removed the flag before returning to the ground.

We are too civilized to use their bully tactics. So they look like winners.
Its not about the flag. Its a gov’t sanctioned hate whitey campaign. They can enjoy their hate fest all they want. It doesn’t change us, and it doesn’t change who and what they are.
They still wake up every morning full of hate and this is just an outward display of their own self loathing.

I support people flying the Confederate battle flag and will probably buy one just to make a point, but I wonder if we need a new flag for a new civil wat. No necessarily battle but a new symboll of the resistance we now must engage in.
Doesn’t she know about the Gay Marriage vote?

I’m surprised the article identified her race, “black woman”, in an article about her committing a crime.
Is the USA the only country suffering from collective mania? People acting purely out of irrational shallow emotion?
I already had very little esteem for many Americans’ intellectual greatness, but the current fad convinces me. And their vote counts the same as mine.
