With the Supreme Courts historic ruling that effectively legalizes same-sex marriage in all 50 states, the 2016 presidential candidates really have no choice today but to comment on the decision from one angle of another. Heres what they had to say.
Hillary Clinton was quick out of the gate with a personal statement, followed by a rebranding of her campaign logo that has already been retweeted more than 20,000 times:

How is this gay marriage decision going to affect prison culture?
If they agree to any LGBT marriage, then they’re agreeing to polygamy, since Bi assumes a relationship with both a male and a female.
It they agree to trans-anything, then they’re just stupid. It doesn’t exist.
The unintended consequences to this thing are just huge.
This is Dredd Scott II.
And the original Dredd Scott eventually led to CW-I
Walker’s comments are as strong as any of them.
The lines are being drawn in the sand as we speak.
The heard is being thinned out of whom is conservative of choice or not.
The only true conservative of choice is Ted Cruz.
The Cruz haters will tie themselves into pretzel logic knots to evade and work their way around this one.
Strong enough, but he was also quick out of the box (even prior to this statement, I believe) to emphasize that Wisconsin would willingly abide by the Supreme Court ruling. Too quick, in my opinion.
I am just responding to what walker said in this article - it was as strong as any of them
No. Dredd Scott was an unpopular (to many) decision based on the Constitution as written. It was a 7-2 decision.
Today's ruling is a (largely) popular decision based on a synthetic constitution constructed by five Supreme Court justices.
You are right the consequences are huge - and for many, fatal.
As in ? He buckled like a wet noodle like Mike Pence ?
He is a sitting Governor. Providing prompt guidance on emerging issues is what effective Governors do,
Didn't he say that he was going to start issuing Homo marriage licenses in Wisconsin?
Why won't he resist? Take a stand. Stop issuing all marriage licenses.
Like Willard Romney,
who began gay marriage by HIS imposition
upon the helpless clerks (and in violation of the
Mass Constitution that he ignored)?
My respect for Pence has plummetted.
Bedtime over here, but I’ll give you this one from Walker’s past before turning in:
“In October, after a federal appeals court upheld the decision striking down Wisconsins ban, Walker said: ‘For us, its over in Wisconsin. To me, Id rather be talking in the future now more about our jobs plan and our plan for the future of the state. I think thats what matters to the kids. Its not this issue.’”

dont know. Just responding to what he said in this article.
Can the prisoners marry now? Even the evil Charles Manson married. So I assume the homo prisoners can now marry.
Walker’s are not top comments. He went on about the rule of law as though this was legit.
Governors should respond by giving the finger to SCOTUS.
The laws for issuing marriage licenses have just been overturned by the Supreme Court. This means that there is no statutory basis for issuing ANY marriage license to anyone.
The State Legislature would have to re-write the marriage license laws to conform to this decision. If they don’t they the state has no right to issue a marriage license to anyone.
When people complain then they can take their case to the Supreme Court.
In essence the SCOTUS has made their decision. Let THEM enforce it!
If they don’t issue any at all, then that is equal treatment under the law.
