Bristol Palin is pregnant again and doesn’t want a lecture about it

The 24-year-old daughter of former vice presidential candidate and “SNL” punching bag Sarah Palin has spent the last seven years since her mom’s failed bid for the White House making abstinence (and holiness in general) her personal and very profitable cause celeb.

In 2008, 17-year-old Palin’s unplanned teen pregnancy threatened to derail her mom’s White House hopes. But her potentially embarrassing narrative quickly turned to one of resilience and the reality shows followed. Palin appeared on season 11 of “Dancing with the Stars” and in her own Lifetime docu-series, “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.”

In 2009, Palin earned $262,500 as The Candie Foundation’s teen pregnancy ambassador but that same year told Fox’s Greta Van Susteren, “everyone should be abstinent or whatever but it’s not realistic at all.”

I believe that’s why it’s an abomination. Not only does it defy God’s law, but it’s a violation of the natural order of things.

I think abominations were especially harmful biologically, socially, psychologically, or spiritually. And when you think about it, we know the biological damage of homosexuality. Using the logic of Romans 1, it is gross self-worship, and as you've said, it is so obviously unnatural.

Now, the argument about all sins being equal is also in error, because I don't think all punishment is equal. In the same way that the bible hints there are different degrees of reward in heaven, I also thinks it hints that about degrees of punishment in hell. All is awful beyond our imagining, so one really has to wonder.

Matthew 11:20-24 “Woe to you, Chorazin. Woe to you, Bethsaida. For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Sarah was already pregnant before she got married. Her oldest’s son’s ex was pregnant before they got married and Bristol is on her second illegitimate pregnancy. I don’t like to call anyone’s child a “mistake” but Sarah’s children didn’t seem to learn that sex before marriage isn’t a good thing and this is one reason why. Marriage protects children.

Personal story, here. My wife's older brother got a girl pregnant and married her. Her older sister got pregnant and married the guy. My wife's parents were very conservative and dedicated Salvation Army people. This disturbed them, a lot. After my wife and I had been going out together for about 10 years, I finally got up the nerve to ask her parents for her hand. The first thing her Dad said to her was, "Are you pregnant?" She said , "no". He said, "Are you kidding?" She said, "no". The light from their faces lit up the room. They were happy, we were happy, and it didn't really take all that much to make that whole thing happen. Our 40th anniversary is this year.

Yes, I agree. Teachers are also held to a higher standard.

And there’s a special contempt for those who harm ‘these little ones’. Better they were drowned in the sea, because something really bad is coming their way.
