I am here to coin a new English word:
JUDICIARCHY - Totalitarian Rule by Judges
NOUN
a small group of lawyers having control of a country, organization, or institution:
"the ruling judiciarchy of Supreme Court Justices mandate government policies and social outcomes without regard to any other branch of government or the people."
Antonym: Freedom
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS:
I claim first use.

I can't believe that Kennedy believes this is going to solve anything. The gays will push to be “married in churches and file lawsuits to do so.
In time, it will be back before the SCOTUS.
The issue is far from over.

I don’t believe there is a law against Judiciarchy, however, treason is another story. Now that would be a five to four I could deal with.

Wow: That's obscure! But I think you've got it:
Kritarchy refers to the rule of judges (Hebrew: שופטים, shoftim) in ancient Israel during the period of time described in the Book of Judges.[1] Because it is a compound of the Greek words κριτής, krites ("judge") and ἄρχω, árkhō ("to rule"), its use has expanded to cover rule by judges in the modern sense, as well, as in the case of Somalia, ruled by judges with the tradition of xeer,[2] as well as the Islamic Courts Union.[citation needed]

It's an interesting word, but I don't think it quite captures the situation we find ourselves in. If the judiciary were acting outside of the wishes of a political movement, then it might be said they were trying to impose their will and ruling through fiat, but the truth is more complex. What we have is a liberal fascism, enforced through a monolithic media, that is the default position of the elite of society. The rule by the elite is almost feudal. The judiciary acts as a trump card for the feudal overlords. When the overlords are unable to force their will due to the remaining brakes on their total power, the judiciary steps in on their behalf and declares what they want to be required. The recite some talismanic phrases and bow towards a Constitution that no one really respects, and then their will be done and no one can thereafter object.
It is a very strong system for implementing tyranny.
