Troopathon VIII is today 6-25 1pm-7pm Pacific 4pm-10pm Eastern.
It's an annual event to support the troops by sending them packages with essential and desired items of use to them while deployed in the Mideast.
This year to save money the Troopathon will be broadcasting from the offices of Move America Forward in Sacramento, California.
There are over 10,000 troops serving in Afghanistan (6,000+) and Iraq, 3,100-3500, plus a handful elsewhere in the middle east.
Melanie Morgan will be the host again and there will be many guests we are all familiar with.
Most will be by phone and internet.
Rita Crosby, a television news anchor and correspondent, radio host, and best selling author.
She currently is a Fox News contributor as well as many other interests.

Let me put it differently.
I like our troops just fine.
But they exist to defend America.
What is there about America that is worth defending?
I went to Costco, Walmart and the grocery store at lunch. Virtually all of those people DESERVE their dictatorship. They WANT their security at the expense of liberty. They gots their obamaphone, their obamahome, their obamacar, their obamacare, their obamafood.
May as well watch the flames engulf the place, and get on a ship for the next tin-pot dictatorship before it’s over.
I’m 53; pretty old to put on cammo and hit the woods. I’m not above it, mind you. But the place is pretty far gone.
Troops, who I support, aren’t going to make a whit of difference as this place sinks into its well deserved hell hole.
Obviously nothing for you.
Join the majority that wanted to give up 200 years ago.
The few and the strong fought and won.
The minority of Americans will fight so it will come back to our Constitutional Republic.
You will be safe then too, unless you are such a quitter that you move to Mexico or some other paradise.
Take your pick, if America isn't good enough for you to encourage fighting for it's existence you can just leave.
If the few and the strong would ever shift themselves out of mama’s basement and away from the X-Box, I’ll be right there.
I’ve been on the political front lines all my life. I’ll join whatever fight there is.
But really, they’re in mama’s basement. And they like it there.
That’s the way it always is.
Like my illustrations from back to the founding of this country.
People were just oblivious or did not have the desire or energy to fight to establish this country.
The few and the strong are us, and us supporting the Military (the front line of the few and the strong) and BELIEVING in them. Not in the government, but those dedicated to fighting for our freedom

Hi Freeps, anyone out there that can help me get some of the Marine corps suction pups (same ones on the Freepathon here.) By the way donate and get one and give it to a Marine if you see a sticker on their car. They flip out.
