That's a whole other subject...and I doubt we'd be far apart on it.
Any case made that the Confederate Battle flag represents historical racism could also be made against anything named for Robert Byrd, possessed of a more recent history of racism.
Oh please, yes!
And Spanish, while we’re at it!
See if Lowe’s has the guts to pull down their MYRIAD profligate acquiescence to illegals.
Exactly!
If The left wants to open a can of worms banning that which they oppose, we should fight fire with fire.

So.
Walmart, E-Bay and NASCAR are all government entities?
How do you like them apples?
Then we may need to ban the $5 bill. Have you read what Lincoln said about blacks?

I propose we ban all groups/organizations that advocate for any specific group based on race.
Where is the Battle flag being flown over a government building?
Indeed but so does the Black & Hispanic Caucus, LaRaza the NAACP and multitude of other race based political and lobbying groups.
The La Raza flag to be sure. Doesn’t this symbolize the desire to undermine the United States?
Indeed as an Australian I a deeply offended by my country’s shape being the most distorted on the map there.
No they are private entities doing what they are doing through their own corporate decision to pander to the crowd, and not due to any government pressure to remove the flag. They are free to not sell Confederate memorabilia just as companies like Dixie Outfitters are free to continue to sell it. We, as consumers, are free to withhold our spending at those companies because of their stance.
How do you like them apples?
Not much. I'd boycott them in retaliation myself except that I already don't shop at Walmart, don't use Ebay, and have never watched NASCAR so it'd be a pretty hollow protest if I did.
That would be really different in my book.
On the grounds of the South Carolina state capitol. If you want to pick nits on semantics then have at it.
Hell, the Rainbow flag will be the national flag the way this keeps up...
I like it. I love it. I want some more of it.
