So-called “liberals” are proudly displaying their disdain for Liberty calling for the removal of the Confederate battle flag from our midst. They say that the losers in a war shouldn’t get to fly their flag, and they’ve arbitrarily decided it ‘represents racism’ not to mention it was right there with the Charleston Church shooter….
Okay, let’s apply that rationale to the flag of Mexico – they lost a war with the US and as for racism, we should check with ‘La Raza’ on that score. In addition the Mexican flag represents a clear and present danger to US sovereignty via the invasion of illegals that it is fomenting. The illegal invasion threat is much more dire that a few good ol’ boys flying the Confederate battle flag from the back of their pickup trucks.
Turnabout is fair play. What say you people who denigrate Liberty on a daily basis and yet still maintain the moniker of “Liberal”? Can we apply your twisted logic to another symbol? In your head long rush to suppress thought crime, can we apply the same rules you use or is your speech sacrosanct?
Stew on that “Liberals” whilst you celebrate one more of your victories against freedom.
Or flags with his mug on it, like the one displayed in an Obama campaign HQ.

I agree! Any national flag, other than on government buildings, other than the US Flag is offensive to me.
Based on my feelings, they should not be sold, of displayed in any form. That is big business, Walmart said so, so they have removed the CSA Flag. Now for all the others. You are either an American or not. You cannot straddle the fence.

Because the Mexican flag is not being flown over any state capitol or federal building that I know of. The Confederate flag is. And people are talking about taking the Confederate flag down from government buildings, not banning the ownership of it entirely. And honestly even if it were flying over government buildings, I'd consider a drive to remove the Mexican flag as stupid and as pointless as the drive to remove the Confederate flag is.
The Mexican worker class can never assimilate here nor can they participate in an enlightened Republic such as ours. Their government facilitates their expulsion to the US because their government despises their dark skin and predisposition to poverty. They are not allowed to participate in affairs of the state.
On the other side, our politicians are willing to throw over white and black Americans all for the sake of cheap labor for republicans and cheap votes for democrats

They aren’t just talking about flags flown over state capitols - they are talking about wanting to having it removed wherever they can.
Why do some people get to decide what symbolizes ‘hate, racism, and bigotry’ And decide what others may do with their freedom?
We should apply the same rules should we not?
So? Who gave you the right to impose your sensitivities on the rest of the world?

They can talk all they want. They can protest and pickett and boycott all they want. They can't force you to remove the flag if you don't want to. Any more that we can tell Mexicans to get rid of theirs.
Seems to me ... folks who make a living trying to impose their sensitivities on the rest of the world, who are perpetually and professionally offended generally end up coming across as hypocrites.
Didn’t you read the fine print on the 1st amendment?
The micro-printing says that no one is to offended any more and when your sensitives are impacted you can remove their rights... /s

Have you been monitoring what has taken place the past few years?
Offend the ‘Gaystapo’ and you’ll see how well you can exercise you rights.
Or, can I claim that your denying this is about freedom of speech offends me and thus you have to stop talking about it?
That must be why only certain folks know about it....
