The Obama administration has ordered agents to begin ignoring many of the illegal immigrants they encounter in local prisons and jails, as the president begins to implement a lesser-known part of his deportation amnesty program — a move that’s not sitting well with either side in the immigration debate.
The move is a nod to sanctuary cities, who had begun to refuse to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration enforcement. After having court challenges, Mr. Obama bowed to those cities, counties and states and announced the changes as part of his November 2014 amnesty policy.
Agents will still troll local prisons and jails looking for immigrants, but they will no longer try to deport those with drug possession offenses, theft or fraud if it involved stealing an identity in order to further their unlawful presence in the country, the House Judiciary Committee said Tuesday.
Even some illegal immigrants who have been charged with serious felonies but who are released by the local authorities won’t be picked up by immigration agents until they’re actually convicted, the committee said.
“President Obama is needlessly endangering our communities,” committee Chairman Robert W. Goodlatte, Virginia Republican, said in a statement announcing his findings on the new program. “It’s past time for the Obama administration to get its priorities straight and protect the American people instead of their political interests.”

Remember when the American people sent a bunch of Republicans to DC and two weeks later, just before the new congress would take control, they fully funded Obama’s amnesty? Remember how the GOP, along with a bunch of supposed conservatives, overwhelmingly gave Boehner the gavel?
Remember all this when your state rep endorses or seeks the endorsement of the DC Republicans.

We keep thinking our politicians are going to do something. It’s getting past time to figure what needs to happen.

Democrats are... but not because they are lazy or stupid. Rather it’s because they are mendacious a**holes that hate this country and work endlessly to undermine it in every way possible. They know exactly what they are doing.
I hear you. You’re correct that Judge Hanen has been silent, his injunction is temporary and dependent on the outcome of the 26 state lawsuit, is my understanding.
The next election is going to be a blood bath. A lot of back stabbing Republicans are going to lose.

Instead of demanding what the administration should do when they wont, make this a big issue with the upcoming elections. Starting right now.

Hammer these RATS with this in the upcoming elections, it’s so out of control this issue alone should bury them.
Jailed illegals are "leveled" into three priorities, Priority 1, Priority 2, or Priority 3, depending on what convictions they have. If there are no prior convictions for a felony, or DUI or domestic violence they are "P3". And P3 doesn't mean that DHS gets to it last. It means DHS does not get to it. It's a wink and a nod amnesty for criminal aliens.
An alien can have multiple illegal entries and deportations, can have a series of felony arrests, but absent a conviction, they're home free.
And even if an illegal is P2 or P1, and DHS/ICE goes ahead and lodges a "detainer" asking that the local LE, hold the alien for ICE pick up and possible deportation. If the local LE says "no" (because they're in an left wing amnesty state or county), then DHS/ICE just says "OK", and that's it.
The system under Obama is just a joke, eyewash to pretend that there's still immigration enforcement in our homeland.

0bama and these liberal sanctuary cites have in fact already succeeded in giving amnesty to these criminal scum illegal aliens.
In the meantime, James O’Keefe is now designated harass-for-life on his passport for any entry back in to the US.
