It’s hard to imagine how the massacre at the Emanuel AME Church that left nine dead could have been worse, but a top Democratic strategist says the shooting would have been a “horror” if the black parishioners were armed.
“Now I cannot imagine the horror that could have occurred if people were sitting around with concealed weapons, this thing started, and you have a full-scale gunfight,” said Democratic advisor Bob Shrum on Friday’s episode of MSNBC’s “The Ed Show.”
“You might not even have three survivors,” said Mr. Shrum, a top campaign aide to now-Secretary of State John Kerry during his failed 2004 presidential bid.

Right on, dude. The fewer people with guns for self defense, the fewer deaths there will be in a mass shooting.

Yes, because armed black parishoners are going to immediately turn away from the threat and start shooting at other parishoners and not the stranger who just showed up an hour ago who has started shooting at them. That’s how libtard logic works.
So the assumption here is that if there were some concealed handguns present when the murderer started killing the room would have erupted in chaotic gunfire? What absolute stupidity! FWIW, I’d rather find myself in the middle of a gunfight than downrange in a shooting gallery.
Of course, he is “broken clock” right. The horror of having to defend your life and others with a firearm IS unimaginable. Unfortunately, it is preferable to being an unarmed victim which, to my mind, is even more horrific.
MSNBC is now the nonstop gun control and ban the Confederate Flag network....neither of which would have done anything to stop this.
But liberal “solutions” never solve problems....they just lead to more “solutions” which involve a larger and larger central government.
What should we do to stop these kinds of massacres?
Lock up the crazies in institutions. Bring back the sanatoriums.

If anyone even read or saw the news report the shooter stopped several times to reload the magazine and even talked to his victims while reloading. He took the time to reload. Apparently He didn’t pop in another magazine he reloaded the 1 magazine that he had.
Even if someone was hiding, there would be plenty of time to take the shooter out safely during the shooters “down time” if there were people with guns present. JMHO
I bet this azzhole has armed security. When it’s his important life, it doesn’t matter if someone else gets killed.
I have stopped watching the news this weekend as I;m sick of hearing this tragedy used as a political agenda by the media and the left. They’re nothing but sick bastards.

If more people who where there had guns everyone would have started shooting their assault machine gun pistols (loaded with clips of armor piercing military bullets) at once and wiped out everyone in the building and in a mile radius. /s

If you want to blame anyone other than the shooter perhaps you should blame the political leaders who let known psychos like this out on the street rather than in institutions.
