this is so odd

I was sick last month for 2 weeks- I ate nothing but soup and chamomile tea for the entire time

I lost 20 pounds, and felt better than I had in years...

But now they have found that a calorie-restricted diet comprising of vegetable soups and chamomile tea has the same affect.
My spidey-proofreader sense is tingling . . .

What does the chamomile tea do? The article mentioned it but never explained the benefits.

I usually only eat one meal per day anyway. By the time I get hungry its 2:00PM so at that point I just wait til dinner.

It turns out that I am really good at this.

I finished at the five day fast in just four hours!

They are preparing us for the upcoming food shortages in a few years. “Don’t worry, starving is good for you.”

In case anyone is on Who wants to be a Millionaire game show:

*shorthand version*

When the edible part contains the seeds: Tree fruits, tomatoes, lemons, cucumbers. That is a fruit.

When the edible part is something else: carrots, onions (roots), broccoli, cauliflower (flowers), corn, wheat (seeds), spinach, lettuce (leaves). That is a vegetable.

I have done 5 day fasts in the past. Only water. After the hunger pangs went I felt great.

Just ran across this. My mom-in-law was big on short term fasts, back in the ‘80’s. Guess she was ahead of the health curve.
