According to Glenn Beck, the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump signals the demise of America.
Beck, discussing yesterdays presidential announcement, called Trump the opposite of every great leader, and slammed him as the most arrogant man the right-wing radio host had ever seen.
Beck recalled the story of a Silicon Valley executive who swore off ever voting for a Republican candidate, citing the infamous Todd Akin legitimate rape comments, to complain that the media seized on such rare occurrences to unfairly paint the GOP as stupid and argue that a Trump candidacy would only serve as more harmful fodder.
Displaying a flagrant lack of self-awareness, Beck warned that Donald Trump coming in and doing this to the Republicans is going to make all of us look ridiculous. Anybody who is a conservative, we are going to look absolutely like clowns. Its just a shame.

Pot meet kettle
Exactly, he looks into the face of one every morning... another arrogant ass. ‘cept beck has less to say and is even more of a clown and charlatan.
Pot meet kettle? Closer to doppelganger.
Why? Because he told it like it is regarding immigration and USA job losses? I’m not saying that Donald isn’t or doesn’t sound like a nut sometimes, but there is some truth in what he says.
Well. he’s right about that.
This coming from Glenn Beck who off and on has Messianic delusions. I bet Beck is supporting Rubio or maybe even Rand.
So they’re both asses? I would agree.
This from a man so smart that he joined a religious cult.
Not really, Beck isn't arrogant enough to believe he can be the next president.
I actually liked what Trump was saying. His remarks on somehow getting Putin to like him (on O’Reilly) just because he’ll be tough struck me as naive on Russia.
That said, Trump can’t be serious. Once you get on the reality TV circuit, I don’t see how you can come off as a serious candidate anyone will campaign for. Knee-jerk reaction is: Trump is into it for self-aggrandizement.
He supports Cruz.
Trump claims to be pro-Second Amendment while also wanting to ban guns. The man is a fraud.
Or at least smart enough to know he can’t do the job. He at least found if not passed his Peter Principle Point.
Then Trump is toast. I notice O’Reilly is trying to make it sound like Trump actually has a chance. Fox was doing it too with their twitter polls.
Trump is into it for self-aggrandizement.’
Hard to believe that someone that well off can be so shallow and insecure isn’t it?
lol! He does have a knack for that.
I think, even if it is not possible for him to win, he brings a welcomed perspective to the discussion that will force the others to address their positions on his campaign promises.
I wish someone would tell me ( or a media person would ask) who they were going to consider for cabinet positions. That would tell me a lot about them. More than their net worth does!
Trump’s speech was one for the book. It was much, much needed.
Beck is worried that Trump may be stealing his act.
