Failed presidential candidate and putative GOP kingmaker Mitt Romney hosted a weekend getaway for his approved list of GOP hopefuls, complete with a dawn yoga session led by Romney’s wife Ann and political reporter Mark Halperin.
The weekend offered Mitt’s chosen ones the opportunity to rub shoulders with GOP moneymen. Hardcore social conservatives, however, did not seem to be welcome.
Among those missing from the event — sponsored by Romney’s son’s private equity firm Solamere — were Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Governor Mike Huckabee, Senator Rick Santorum, and Dr. Ben Carson.

The headline for this story was very good. Very descriptive.
Who called Cruz a “globalist RINO”? I thought the sentiment has been that Cruz is misguided in his support of any trade deals and more H1B Visas at this time.
The only slight there is to Cruz. Carson, Santorum, and Huckster are not viable candidates....

Romney is a loser.
If you need help with your garden, you don’t take advice from someone whose plants look sad and are dying.
He is not now, nor has he been in the past, a successful Republican candidate. He is too Progressive.
