"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Which candidate will surround himself with the most conservative advisors, cabinet members, etc.?
We pay WAAAY too much attention to the candidate himself.
To: SoConPubbie
I’m going to reserve judgement about who’s the most conservative until the debates. We’ll see who can passionately and convincingly articulate constitutional conservative values.

Incredibly interesting chart. Walker, Cruz, Paul are all just slightly right OF THE CENTER of the Republican bell curve, while trump/Cristie/Bush are on the left fringe.
Dem politicians cover their entire spectrum.
Republican nomination may well go to the most conservative because there are slim pickings to the left of bell center.

Wonder where FR would have come on that chart,
probably to the right of Ted Cruz?

Per FR pundits NONE!!! The present crop of candidates have been declared by FR as:
"You would be hard put to find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy then the presently declared 2016 Republican Presidential Candidates."

I think we're phrasing our questions and/or statements all wrong
I think we should be more concerned about AMERICAN than conservative.
Donald Trump says more American things than Ted Cruz
Not promoting Trump over Cruz but pointing out the language being used
Words DO mean something and Americans ARE looking for a Patton ...... imo

Maybe this will shed some light?
Op-ed: Hatch should fix H1-B visa program instead of expand it
From that article:
How do corporations benefit from this? Major savings: Many of the workers laid off at Disney and SCE earned $100,000 a year or more. Government data indicate the H-1B workers replacing them earn around $60,000.

I support Cruz but wish he’d stay out of the inside the beltway thinking. His support of TPP and the idea of increasing H-1B Visas by 500% make me wonder.

Methodology is baloney. What about the opinions of people that do NOT use Twitter?
Like most people over 45? And people not camped out on social media/political news forums 24/7/365?
