Rick Sanchez: Jeb goes off script on immigration, delivers unintended 'read my lips' moment

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

He wasn’t supposed to say it, but he couldn’t help himself. John Ellis Bush, former Governor of Florida let’er rip. He said exactly what a careful review of the transcript reveals he was supposed to avoid during his announcement for president speech at Miami Dade College.

It appeared that Jeb Bush, or just “Jeb” as the signs and placards read to distinguish him from the field and other Bushes before him, was not going to mention comprehensive immigration reform. Not here, not in this speech. This speech was intended to show him for what he is, a devoted father, son and husband. It was also a positioning speech for the upcoming Republican primaries, where validating conservative principals is a must.

But Jeb is not like the other GOP candidates; in the eyes 17 percent of the population he is the only candidate “guapo” enough to speak truth to the power of the conservative base when it comes to immigration, even if it is a message it doesn’t want to hear. Still, this was not the time, nor the place for that bold if not risky type of messaging.

Then in an instant, the plan changed....

At a time when more people are out of work than ever, why do we need to be importing two million people a year? Who decided that was a good policy? When did they run that by the American people? Did anyone ask the guy who is out of work?

The article says that because much of the growth in employment is among latino immigrants, we need to increase that number. Really. He is drawing the wrong conclusion from that little factoid. Nothing personal if you’re an illegal immigrant, but American workers are being replaced. While they are being laid off in record numbers, the new jobs are going to immigrants, many of them illegal, and Jeb wants to make that official policy. It already is of course but he’ll make it legal.

Immigration policy should always be designed with the interests of citizens in mind first, foremost and always. I don’t think the guy to do that is Jeb. I love that he speaks Spanish. I don’t love that he doesn’t understand the whole notion of citizenship and borders.

The who, are the Wall Street banksters, a long line from which the Bushes are descended.

Yes, they ran it by the American people during GW Bush's first term and the American people overwhelmingly elected Duh-bya to a second term.

Anyone who voted for Bush voted for Amnesty and voted to sell out Americans in favor of Mexican illegal aliens.
