The world enjoys the darkness, Christians and Jews, just keep walking in the light and turn off the TV.

I expect Obama will have a cameo role.

After the pop star's murder, Lucifer helps the Los Angeles Police Department try to solve the murder by using his uncanny ability of "drawing out people's secrets."

I'm thinking this tag team is in bad form.

"Horror film legend Christopher Lee may have played creatures linked to the occult on screen, but he didn’t want to be linked to the occult off screen. The actor even warned his fans not to get involved with the occult, “I warn all of you - never, never, never – not only will you lose your mind you’ll lose your soul.”

I think Fox is there. They have lost their minds and they have lost their souls.

If Fox airs this program, then I will have to stop watching all Fox programs including Fox news.

I am an old-time comic book guy (don’t buy new stuff) and I don’t have television. I know nothing about the comic book and would never have heard of this show if it wasn’t for this article.

I think the intentions behind the “cancel the show” petitions are noble, but I also think they drum up a lot of free publicity for the shows and that works to their benefit. I believe this happened with Married: With Children back in the 80s. Half of America didn’t even know there was a FOX network until someone started a campaign to cancel that show.

If you really want to make a difference, convince people to drop their cable/satellite and find alternative means to support quality shows.

“Charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome”

This is exactly how the enemy of God appears.

Almost everything on tv mocks the bible today. Most of our present culture does the same, too (gay “marriage”, et al). Sick days we’re in.

As an oblivious understanding American, I am eagerly waiting for this same whimsical and irreverent treatment of the Prophet Mohammed. I expect some pretty funny and daring departures from reality in the conduct of series.

We all want to see the softer side of that child rapist Mohammed in how he tenderly abuses the young women who have been enslaved to him, as well as benevolent aura of approvability lord god Allah shines down upon him has he prepares his progeny to go out and blow themselves up completely for the cause of ISLAM and its outreach.

If we are faithful and steadfast, we may even get to see glimpses of the 73 virgins that will reward each martyr for Isla in that special misogynistic way.

We’ve been cramming Harry Potter witchcraft down our kids throats for almost 20 years.

I wonder if they will love Lucifer as much as they do Harry Potter?

This "Lucifer" is more of a super-villain than a biblical character.

Lucifer Morningstar

“The program previews mischaracterize Satan, departs from true biblical teachings about him, and inaccurately portrays the beliefs of the Christian faith,” the petition argues.

Does the show claim to be based on the Bible? I seriously doubt that. I am a Christian. I would not be interested in this show. I would also use the opportunity with others as a teachable issue. But I would not demand that a program be removed when I live in a free nation. Don’t watch it as a matter of choice. Don’t tell others they can not watch it. Tell them why they should not watch it.....

Not if they do any justice to the comic. In the comic that spun off from Sandman Lucifer is hip and cool, and also a serious dick, and suffering from burnout. He first appears in the comic having decided he’s had enough of being in charge of Hell, so he kicks everybody out and locks it, then he takes over a piano bar. It doesn’t mock the Bible, though hyper religious people probably wouldn’t be able to connect.
