Chris Evans has signed a three-year deal to replace Jeremy Clarkson as the presenter of Top Gear, the BBC says.
The broadcaster decided not to renew Clarkson's contract in March after it emerged he attacked a producer on the programme at a hotel in North Yorkshire.
Evans will lead an all new line-up, the BBC said.

Youtube also has many clips of Top Gear specials you never see here in the USA. Plus others shows these guys do separate from Top Gear.
I’ll look for them. The streaming sources may have some too.
Same here. My wife is not a car person, but she enjoyed the antics and humour, even if it was completely juvnile.
The only other car show she likes is "Wheeler Dealers."
I won't watch "Top Gear" with the ex-Mr. Billie Piper leading the band. It won't be the same having a ginger as the host.

one nice thing about top gear was that it was unapologetically fake. The US version was an unwatchable mess. (then again I could only take about 60 seconds and changed the channel faster than a Geraldo rivera appearance)
the BBC ruined Dr. Who and now they have ruined this.
Last heard the trio were negotiating with Netflix.
Clarkson’s actions in punching that producer demanded some sort of disciplinary response; no one is questioning that. However, there were plenty of options available to the BBC short of destroying the show.
Unfortunately, in their limitless, fanatical zeal to force their PC political agendas on everyone else, the BBC went nuclear and were too blind and stupid to see that they were shooting themselves in the foot.
They aren’t punishing Clarkson; he’s a talented, valuable entertainment commodity who will find gainful employment somewhere else, as will Hammond and May. No, they aren’t punishing Clarkson; they’re punishing their own viewers...
