Donald Trump is running for president. The multi-billionaire announced his presidential plans today from his namesake tower in New York City. Trump, 69, was introduced by his daughter Ivanka as he formally declared his 2016 intentions, descending down an escalator with wife Melania to speak to the gathered crowd. In his remarks he attacked the Obama administration on everything from immigration and terrorism to Obamacare and the job market as he promised to bring back the American dream. He also released his financial information, revealing a net worth of $8.7billion.
'We need somebody that literally will take this country and make it great again. We can do that,' said Trump. I will be the greatest jobs president God ever created 'Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again.'
As for what he could do for the country, Trump said he would be the 'greatest jobs president God ever created.' He then added; 'The fact is, the American Dream is dead - but if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before.'
As for Obamacare, Trump called the program a 'disaster.' 'ObamaCare must be repealed and replaced with something far superior and at far less cost,' he said in his remarks.
Trump also put much of the focus of his speech on the issue of immigration.
The fact is, the American Dream is dead - but if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before. 'It is way past time to build a massive wall to secure our southern border - and nobody can build a bigger and better wall than Donald Trump,' said Trump.

You’re right, you shouldn’t vote. God intended us to use the intellect He’s given us to make the best of the situation as it presents itself, even when the solutions are not “perfect.” I doubt that the US is going to be able to pray itself out of the big hole we’re in today, but if you think that’s the way to go, I wish you well. I just hope and pray that my grandkids are not relegated to the dustheap of failed country as a result.
The really adept ones know how to use weasel words to deceive you without technically lying. It's real skill that takes years to become second nature.

Well said. Actually it summarizes most politicians who will say anything and dance all night long with the puppet masters, if it keeps them in the club of power. They’ve learned that the media can make them or break them and we are basically puppets to the media.

I like that. I also like that he’s an actual job creator in the real world.
He hasn’t been employed by the government for the last 15 years.
There are some things I disagree with him about but I think he knows more about actually building the American Dream than anybody else in the race so far.

I went to CSPAN video and watched his entire speech. Now those that know me here will agree that I am quite the contrarion but ill be damned if I disagreed with a single thing he said. NOT ONE THING!! This was Ronald Reagan II. I am so fired up I won’t be able to sleep. He doesnt even need bribes!! Hear that??? — you can’t BRIBE him like boehner and McConnell are bribed to sell us out in my opinion. This is my happiest day in years!!!

I too am much more concerned with economic liberty over social issues. That being said, Trump is laughable when speaking about Christianity. It is so bad it is embarrassing. So bad that even moderates that go to church once a year see through how shallow he can be.
