Obamacares apologists, tired of being laughed at for claiming its working, have adopted a new talking point that they hope will produce less mirth. They now claim the law is such an integral part of our health care system that it is no longer susceptible to repeal or even revision. As President Obama recently put it, This is now part of the fabric of how we care for one another. This is health care in America. This is a perfectly absurd claim to make about a law that has been in effect for only a year and a half.
The Presidents assertion is particularly ridiculous considering that Obamacare isnt yet fully in force. Some of its major provisions, the employer mandate for instance, have only been partially implemented. Others, like the Cadillac tax, wont go into effect until the President is conveniently out of office. These facts have not, of course, prevented Obamas media sycophants from parroting the party line. The New York Times chimes in thus: The Affordable Care Act is now fully woven into the nations social fabric.
A medical metaphor involving metastasis would be more accurate. Obamacare is metastasizing throughout our medical delivery system, much as a malignant carcinoma spreads through a cancer victims lymphatic systemwith more or less the same result ...

'Obamacare is working' is another howler. It's working like cats-a-fighting, to use Tom Sawyer's phrase.
I guess the fabric of the way we delivered health care for the past 50 years is irrelevant, but a law that’s not even fully implemented yet has a fabric so strong as to be bullet proof. This is just too easy.
A common meme that ranks with the logical fallacies in the effort to divert discussion. Another popular example used by this mis-Administration is “accepted science” in discussion of EPA rules and climate idiocy!
It is designed to fail AND take out the private insurance companies, so that ‘single payer’ can take effect
Those Insurance Companies supported Obama. The law forces people to buy their product. I’m sure the top executives are prepared to bail right before the collapse but god help the rank and file employees.

In other words, the Stage IV cancer has metastasized and we can no longer remove it via surgery so you’ll just have to suffer with the pain and other horrible effects. When you die ... well, the world is overpopulated anyway.
The dipSh!t Republican leadership seems determined to ‘fix’ it with their own fresh hell.
Bingo. The insurance companies fought Hillary’s attempt at single payer because they were being cut out of the deal.
Obama co-opted them and ensured they are all going to retire fat and happy before single payer takes over. It’s the Chicago Way.
Not in my fabric, it isn’t. We will not comply.
Ave Caesar
No bitterness: our ancestors did it.
They were only ignorant and hopeful, they wanted freedom but wealth too.
Their children will learn to hope for a Caesar.
Or rather—for we are not aquiline Romans but soft mixed colonists—
Some kindly Sicilian tyrant who’ll keep
Poverty and Carthage off until the Romans arrive,
We are easy to manage, a gregarious people,
Full of sentiment, clever at mechanics, and we love our luxuries.

Obamacare is designed to fail to create demand for single-payer government provided health care. That is the interim purpose for Obamacare.
I forget which US Dem Senator said this, but the day after passing Obamacare, he spoke to the media, in a way to reassure those who felt Obamacare didn’t go far enough toward single-payer. He said something like “We are building a house. You don’t build a house over night. What we did was build the foundation so we have something solid on which to build the house”.
He was clearly reassuring the extreme liberals that single-payer was coming. IMO, Obamacare is designed to fail, so that that single-payer can come in and fill the vacuum left by its failure.
