Cruz is still the man. I hope Freepers take the time to read up on his position here.

Is TPA Constitutional? [S]imilar trade authority has been upheld by the Supreme Court as constitutional for more than 100 years.
Okay. But is it Constitutional?

"Toast" Cruz KNEW the American people do not want
secrecy, globalism, sell outs, tyranny, lawlessness or Obama.
But Toast knew better based, and has supported
Obama, globalism, secrecy, and the sell out of America
and the US Constitution.
He should have apologized and changed his ways.

Ted when you are in a hole stop digging. Put your head down and be quiet for awhile or just come out and say you made a mistake. Don’t start attacking Jeff Sessions and the internet. :-)

See, see you mean-old googly eyed right-wing purists! All is forgiven! Now shut yer pie-hole and cheer for our Savior, Cruz!
WHO’S GOT THE CRUZ PING LIST?
To: Diogenesis
Again, how could we lose you, our biggest backer? I’ll have to call Cruz headquarters on Monday and tell them to cancel the whole thing, we’ve lost our most stalwart supporter! What chance is there now? [wrings hands]

For the past 80 years, it has proven virtually impossible to negotiate free-trade agreements without the fast-track process. And according to Senator Sessions and others, it's also proven impossible to defeat any so-called free trade agreement WITH the fast track process.

And, regardless, no trade agreement can change U.S. law; only Congress can change U.S. law.
really now.... What the hell has Obama been doing in spit of congress or with the tacit approval of the congress for the leas 6 years then?

You all say that I’ve set-up Cruz as a god, but haven’t you done the same for Sessions?

Thanks for posting.
Fingers crossed that our antsy Freepers actually take the time to read it.

That's one of the major reasons the supporters of various trade agreements want fast track authority. Once they get that sucker negotiated, it's a done deal for all practical purposes.
Missed part of my post in first attempt.

Reading the details matters.
But then again, this IS the internet...
The “Cruz has gone moderate” theme is already alive and well on FR. I’m not sure the truth or logic will matter at this point.

I would vote for Cruz, but either he is naive or a little too optimistic of Congress: “Senator Cruz would not and will not give President Obama one more inch of unrestricted power. “ -— Since when has Congress restricted him?

They won’t, for the most part. But I have a Plan B if they hand us Hillary or Jeb and most of them don’t.
