A day after the parents of Rachel Dolezal, the President of the Spokane Chapter of the NAACP, said she has been misrepresenting herself as black for years, the NAACP says they are standing by Dolezal.
In a statement released Friday, the organization said:
"For 106 years, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has held a long and proud tradition of receiving support from people of all faiths, races, colors and creeds. NAACP Spokane Washington Branch President Rachel Dolezal is enduring a legal issue with her family, and we respect her privacy in this matter. One's racial identity is not a qualifying criteria or disqualifying standard for NAACP leadership. The NAACP Alaska-Oregon-Washington State Conference stands behind Ms. Dolezal's advocacy record. In every corner of this country, the NAACP remains committed to securing political, educational, and economic justice for all people, and we encourage Americans of all stripes to become members and serve as leaders in our organization.
Hate language sent through mail and social media along with credible threats continue to be a serious issue for our units in the Pacific Northwest and across the nation. We take all threats seriously and encourage the FBI and the Department of Justice to fully investigate each occurrence."

The charges in two separate cases made public today stem from an ongoing public corruption investigation by federal, state, and local authorities of alleged fraud by businesses falsely purporting to be minority- or women-owned, or by legitimate non-majority businesses being used as sham pass-through sub-contractors on public works projects.

I once knew a tall, white Jewish woman who had an Afro hairstyle in which you could have hidden half of DC. She was a friend and supporter of Dick Gregory and was promoting his “Black House” protest campaign in 1969
She was a typical Jewish liberal who tried to become like the people who were being discriminated against because of their skin color. A nice person but she was trying to lose her birth identity and replace it with a made-up skin color id. It just doesn’t work very well outside of a small group of similarly guilt-ridden white liberals.

Well from what I learned she put herself down as African American on everything she came in contact with. She even mailed herself racist letters claiming they were from “extremist right wing groups”.
