We keep hoping but the republican branch of the Uniparty never changes.
I’m starting to feel that pulling the flush handle on all the RINOS is the only way. Even if that means a period of Democrat hegemony. Can the status quo be any worse?

This was me in 2006 or so.
I do take lightly my calling it the #uniparty.
But to be fair, the real problem is the electorate. They are doing what they think will get them elected. Add to that this question: Imagine you get elected and the first thing you learn is that the country is financially doomed. It’s GOING TO HAPPEN, and all you can do is your best to put it off as long as possible without an actual bloody revolution. I keep thinking about this:

Republicans theoretically control the congress but Obama and Dems still get what they want. What’s the point of having a Republican “majority”?
