It’s my fault. I found a charge from Assurant Health on my credit card statement, and since I don’t remember ever purchasing it, I had the charge canceled. Then I called Assurant Health and found out it was my son’s policy that I had set up a payment for 3 years ago (and forgot).
So we didn’t pay the premium, and now the company is going under.
HOPE AND CHANGE!
So?
Ah ha, Obama’s plan is working as he wanted. One by one destroy the private insurance market so Obama can step in with the Canada or England type of one-fits-all national insurance.
Yes. This is a direct result of Obamacare and may affect a couple of my emplyees (although I think that Assurant found them other plans).
My employer has changed our coverage 2x so far to avoid laying all of us off due to 0bamacare.
For that, I APPLAUD him and thank my Lucky Stars for having a like-minded employer.
Sorry about your troubles, of course. We’re all going down, but we’re going down - TOGETHER! :)
I’m not sure how old this company is, but we had Assurant for 8 years before the ACA. Never had a problem.
In 2008, our HSA premium was $4200 with a $5000 deductible. In 2014, our rate was $17,745 then in 2015, we cancelled. It soared to $25,015 for the same policy. (2 Adult non smokers good health history)
Not insured now.
Thanks! I forgot about that site.
Killed by ObamaCare no doubt
And we wonder why insurance companies sold their souls and supported ObamaCare.
Obamacare Bad for People, Good for Insurers
"While American families suffer from higher prices, Obamacare has produced record profits for the insurance industry that supported the law. These profits largely result from Obamacares enormous new government spending, which was used as an incentive for their support."
And the GOPe has done NOTHING too stop it
