The U.S. and other wealthy nations have spent trillions of dollars over the past half-century trying to lift the world’s poorest people out of penury, with largely disappointing results. In 1966, shortly after President Lyndon B. Johnson declared war on poverty, 14.7% of Americans were poor, under the official definition of the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2013, 14.5% of Americans were poor.
Finally, after decades of failure there is a movement afoot to launch “a new generation of experimental programs focusing not on large-scale social support and development but on helping the poor and indebted to save more, live better and scramble up in their own way.” Shocking, isn’t it, that we’ve been spending trillions of dollars not knowing what would actual help alleviate poverty?:

Sachs was one of the Ivy League morons sent to coach the Russian communists on how to build a market economy. Look at how that turned out.

Without Virtue, there is no Freedom. Vice creates slaves. Virtue is habituated and learned in the formative years inside the Natural Family. Without it-—you have feral animals who need to be herded and controlled and locked-up. They have no inner controls-—all control (habituated in the Dewey school system) is OUTER control......all Virtue destroyed.
The Marxists knew that welfare would destroy the family unit along with feminism and homosexuality-—both Communist movements-—and no-fault divorce would promote vice.
Easy divorce and destruction of “marriage” contracts were the first institutions (along with churches) that Lenin destroyed.....which caused rapid social decay and syphilis, etc. and such chaos that Stalin had to force new marriage laws and alimony when he took power to get some control over the population which was in total chaos with millions of orphans, prostitutes, and huge welfare loads and rampant disease.
Destruction of marriage is a key issue so children are emotionally damaged and easily managed by the State’s propagand machines which destroys Virtue intentionally in children-—to create ignorant addicts for the State.
