Jeb Bush, Citing ‘Magnitude of the Journey,’ Details Staff Reshuffle
NY Times ^ | 6/10/15 | MICHAEL BARBAROJUNE

Jeb Bush said on Wednesday that he felt compelled to reorganize his political team — and pick a new, unexpected campaign manager — “based on the skills of people that I got to know” and the “magnitude of the journey” he faces as candidate.

In his first remarks about the reshuffling, Mr. Bush, a former governor of Florida, pleaded for patience and played down the idea that he was displeased with his standing in a crowded Republican field. He is expected to formally enter the race next week.

“It’s June, for crying out loud, so we’ve got a long way to go,” he said during a news conference held outside his hotel here on the second and final day of meetings and speeches in the German capital. “I just urge everybody to be a little more patient about this.”

.....and the “magnitude of the journey” he faces as candidate.

I wish that "journey" was a permanent crossing of the US-Mexico border back to his homeland.

Let’s see him reshuffle his views next, now that his “act of love” philosophy isn’t going over so well.

I guess this means they finally told him what they did to “his” team and they came up with a good explanation he could give

He clearly had no clue yesterday

Go away, Jeb.

And the rest of you GD bushes.

Sorry I ever defended your self-serving, NWO clan.

I remember fondly George Bush on the pile of rubble after 9/11. I remember his going to the rescue of, I think, one of his security team in a foreign country (can’t remember what country) and I remember his saying “Bring it on.” And then I think about the liberal (yes, liberal) women in his life that influenced him...Barbara, Laura and possibly his daughters...and I know that another Bush will ruin this country.

Jeb has NO connection to the American people.

Though for different reasons, Evita is equally ‘removed’ from Americans.

They are both absolutely clueless about what America IS and what American needs.

I applauded W in his defense of this country at a time when it was need (still is in my opinion)to protect us from terrorism. However, he neglected things on the homefront with the economy, spending and gradual loss of freedoms in the namesake of ‘terrorism’. The DHS and TSA are two DISASTROUS threats to our freedom. For this, I blame him.

Jeb? He's a Bush...but that's not why I refuse to ever vote for him. It is because he is a Mexican at heart. He bandies our sovereignty about with plans for ultimate citizenship for criminals like it was his own private little project. HE DECIDES for us, even though he is not President, Governor, or anything of the kind. HE DECIDES and that is that. Arrogant rich dilettante with a disdain for his own country's sovereignty.

In W’s defense, I think we were all in Shockworld after that terrible day. So, I am willing to give him a break.
But the shock is passed and clear, cool minds must prevail.

The neglect of domestic problems was his downfall.

Its more like magnitude of ineptitude. Jeb doesn’t have the chops to win at the national level. He should look for a banana republic to run in. That’s more his speed.

I say this as someone who was very much behind GWB: It was not merely neglect of domestic problems. I came to understand his globalist leanings when he absolutely refused to secure the southern border. Broke my heart to learn what he truly believes.

I know I’ll never feel the same about him. Although I think he is a good man. Just not strong enough. Right now what we need is STRENGTH.

When I found out after I had voted for him the second time that he had reduced border and interior enforcement AFTER 9/11 I was furious beyond words.

I have been fighting amnesty since 2006 and will fight until we elect a President who will enforce the laws or we lose the country.

The only Journey Jebster should undertake would be to take his Mexican wife back to Mexico instead of trying to turn our country into North Mexico.

"Would you believe him?"

Of course not. I held my nose and voted for his Pappy in '88 as he claimed to be Reagan's third term, but I still remember GHWB in '80 calling Reagan's proposals "Voodoo Economics."

Come to think of it, Reagan shouldn't have sent someone to find George HW hiding out in a bar during the RNC convention to offer him the VP slot. We probably could have avoided the Bush dynasty if RR chose someone else.
