Cpl. David Eric Casebolt, Tex. seen on video pulling his gun on teenagers in swimsuits and shoving a young black girls face in the ground, has resigned. Our policies, our training, our practice doesnt support his actions... He came into the call out of control, and was out of control during the incident. Chief Conley said.

Casebolt was a good cop, he is out and the dept is on notice.
Rab.
That is ashame but he has a great future in many other Texas towns and cities where he is an absolute phenom.
He came into the call out of control? I watched the video, I don't see where he was out of control in what appeared to me to be an out of control situation, except for trying to subdue someone who refused to comply in a very physical and out of control way to the LAWFUL order of a policeman to disperse, and then to lie on the ground when she refused.
“That is a shame but he has a great future in many other Texas towns and cities where he is an absolute phenom.”
That Policeman does has a future in Texas...I saw restraint on the Policeman’s part...when the dumb (white)sucker tried to run around behind the officer...
the (white) dumb sucker isn’t dead.
That is restraint.
...If the (white) dumb sucker doesn’t change his ways...
the percentages will catch up with him...
soon...

He falls, rolls, loses his gear and keeps running like a mad man.

Calm cop has his situation under control and Casebolt reignites.
I’m not going to say whether Casebolt handled situation correctly, but he rolled onto the scene pretty frantically.
And at the point where he did that, there doesn’t seem to be any reason for him to be running like that. None of the other 11 officers there were acting anything like that.
I’d like to see all the original unedited footage from all the phones before forming an objective opinion
Interesting.

Well, if my children were at that pool, I would want Casebolt there. I would trust him around my kids. But maybe that is because my kids aren’t abusive, trespassing, wanna-be thugs.
Hope the chief had to offer him a nice severance package to get him to resign and take one for the team to calm things down there.
They were both running into the situation, and he tripped.
The “calm” cop didn’t.
You make it sound like one guy is running completely out of control, and one is calmly entering the scene.
Do you know what the difference in that approach between the two cops was? The one who tripped was far ahead of the other one.
if you watch the video, you can clearly see they are both running with the same speed and sense of urgency. It clearly isn’t “One is out of control and the other isn’t”. The one in the lead simply tripped, so yeah, was he out of control as he hurtled towards the ground and then rolled? Yes.
Another highly experienced Navy Veteran, trained in the martial arts (Israeli style) Cop, who has served for 15 years in the police forces, since 2005 in his current job as a Corporal on the McKinney, TX force, has now quit that force because of a punk, brat female teenager screaming racism.
What a loss for the police and what a waste of an excellent career and years of experience because of another trumped up “racial” incident. These incidents will be orchestrated all over the U.S. from now until 2016, instigated primarily by professional organizers, when we hopefully will get rid of the main instigator of these events, our illustrious Prez Obama and his thug regime.
These U.S. Cops don’t need more training; most, like this Cop, have plenty of it. Instead, they need to have lots of public and vocal support by the likes of us, police chiefs who have their backs rather than stick a stiletto in it, and a new President of the U.S. rather than the current sociopath.
He totally overreacted. Other cops weren’t on some ego trip telling everyone to get on the ground like there is about to be a riot situation.
He looks like he’s way above his level of competence in his position as a police officer. If he can’t handle that situation and bring it to a reasonable conclusion instead of escalating things then he needs to be in a different job.

The video supports that.
Another highly experienced Navy Veteran, trained in the martial arts (Israeli style) Cop...
A short, wannabee martial art instructor from some store front fighting school with a Napoleon complex lost his job.
And, the rest of the cops that responded in a reasonable manner are still on the job.
Good.
I disagree. It shows two policemen running at top speed, one of them far in front of the other, who trips, and jumps up and continues to run as fast as he can.
The officer behind him is running just as fast.
To say that Casebolt was a good cop and handled the situation correctly is to say the other eleven officers on the scene are bad cops who did not.
