McKINNEY The McKinney police officer whose actions at a pool party disturbance last Friday went viral in a YouTube video resigned from the force on Tuesday.
"The actions of Eric Casebolt are indefensible," police Chief Greg Conley told reporters at a news conference late Tuesday afternoon, saying the officer was "out of control during the incident."
"I had 12 officers on the scene, and 11 of them performed according to their training," Conley added.
Casebolt's resignation was confirmed about one hour earlier by attorney Jane Bishkin, who told WFAA that the decision was made after a meeting with the department's internal affairs unit to review possible charges her client could face.

Bet she claims some back injuries. Count on it.
Well by golly, if all those MSMs plus Shep (lib) and Sharpton disagree, then they must be right. Seriously?
Oh. The Twits found the white woman, too, and have named her. Never mind that she didn’t start it, but, rather, Tatyana did.
job?
When I’m against the cops, they get away with it. When I’m on the cops’ side, they resign. This cop handled the situation well as far as I’m concerned. What would the PC chief be saying if the cop had been jumped by the two thugs and put in the hospital?

Thanks for the links!
Ping out to y’all ; see Wayne Dupree twitter posts in the first link.
Oh wow, wanna cry? Go email the justice department about how your feelings were hurt on the internet.
I’ve heard there are some section 8 apartments being built in some pretty nice neighborhoods around Houston.
Or maybe the chief of police received a spiritual vision from up high revealing that police officers such as himself really are of the devil. Whatever floats your boat.

Oh @#$%, that post by Dennis L.A. White is a —threat— and incitement to violence!
No wonder cpl casebolt went into hiding....
That did not happen...why are you lying about this?
No wonder he quit. Way to back up your men, “chief”. Wonder what the other cops on that force think?
I did not see him “restrained by his fellow officers”. Did you hear that on CNN or MSNBC?
Eventually we all could be facing a boatload of trouble. The cops are going to quit watching out for the law abiding citizens and focus on CYA. Baltimore was just the start.
We are heading back into the Wild West. It will get worse before it gets better. I am fully prepared to take care of my family against these out of control flashmobs.
The Police Chiefs can not kiss-up their way through these race baiting thugs.
Yes they found her and are trying to get her fired from her job.
Yup, but you won’t see the Justice Dept going after White like they are going after six people on Reason.com for supposed threats to a judge. White’s comments were much more threat that examples I saw of the six people. But then White is the correct color, so he gets a pass.
You didn’t really just go through that video to find that one frame and then characterize that as “restraining” did you?
Good grief.
“Or maybe the chief of police received a spiritual vision from up high revealing that police officers such as himself really are of the devil. Whatever floats your boat.”
The city and the police chief likely reviewed more data than is available to any of us.
But the one thing we do know, is that the girl who was tackled was not arrested.
Did she commit a crime and Casebolt decided not to arrest her?
Or, did she not commit a crime?
If she did commit a crime, why did Casebolt not arrest her?
People like this, with the ready assistance and approval of the administration, are trying to escalate a race war.
I saw the screen shot on another thread.
On the video it appears the officer was attempting to calm Casebolt down.
And Casebolt was the only officer tackled anyone.
Public pressure ... he had to say that. Otherwise we would be seeing riots.
