McKINNEY The McKinney police officer whose actions at a pool party disturbance last Friday went viral in a YouTube video resigned from the force on Tuesday.
"The actions of Eric Casebolt are indefensible," police Chief Greg Conley told reporters at a news conference late Tuesday afternoon, saying the officer was "out of control during the incident."
"I had 12 officers on the scene, and 11 of them performed according to their training," Conley added.
Casebolt's resignation was confirmed about one hour earlier by attorney Jane Bishkin, who told WFAA that the decision was made after a meeting with the department's internal affairs unit to review possible charges her client could face.

That's funny. I too want all the low income housing to be mingled amongst all the High income real estate too! Especially in San Fransisco.
These rich white liberals want to bitch about discrimination, they need to put their lives where their mouth is. I think it's completely ridiculous that they can live in secure guarded communities and complain about other people's behavior. That they can support welfare and government housing and never have to face the disasters that these policies create.
No, they made that poo and their noses need to be shoved right into it.
Hopefully you’ll become the next Zimmerman then. I will make posts about how stupidly and violently you acted as the young youths rambunctiously torched your house.
You think only cops are on the media hit list, fool? You own a gun. You’re a racist media circus waiting to happen. And you won’t be vindicated even if the jury does.
What’s up with the personal attacks and insults?
I hope you aren’t one with a gun if you get this heated by a post about a cop who just got fired.
The idiots are on twitter gloating about what they got away with and talking about next time.
The wealthy don’t want their noses rubbed in it. They want ours.
So we work and scrimp to buy somewhere nice and voila, in walks 0bama’s Section 8.
I see it happening on the way to work.
Can you post a link to that, please ?
Have a link to that, CC?
Hey, if a post is stupid, it gets called stupid. You even make FR look bad just by posting here. And depicting a cop tripping as a random ninja barrel roll to kill kids puts the IQ of that post at below 70.
No I’m not going to go looking for it. It was a couple of hours ago.

Oh I understand. You clearly didn’t watch the video. I understand that not everyone gets the info before posting.
I see it happening on the way to work.
I would say thank LBJ, but if I understand my history correctly, it was more the result of what Northeaster Rockefeller Republicans did. What LBJ did in response was just a consequence of what they did.
The last three words of the 24th amendment was a national suicide pill.
Hm. I watched the various videos, and if you ask me, this cop was being set up, had this situation going on, he was the only one there.
He was clearly overwhelmed with what was going on. It would have taken a remarkable individual to have restored order there.
I would like to see any number of people who criticize this policeman do better than him in that situation, without simply surrendering the situation to those people creating the disturbance.
Sure. That cop could have done just that (just stand back and give them their “space”) and our country seems to be full of people who would do just that, including some on FR.
Then call the post stupid, don’t do this
And I quote your post
“You think only cops are on the media hit list, fool?”
Implying I am a fool, not the post, which is a personal attack and I will not tolerate.
Have a good evening and please do not bother continuing this discussion with me
But, the other 11 officers that were there must have seen much more and told the chief their version of the events.
This is Texas. There probably isn’t a police union involved.
Thanks for the links.
That is exactly the way I see it.
I did watch the video. And because I am a human being and not a defective member of my race, I know that having one knee over someone doesn’t translate to 220 pounds of force. The proof is that she has no injuries to report, otherwise you’d be pointing to them.
“Good thing I dont interpret a literally one second still through the lens of neurosis and watched the video instead.”

IMHO Oliviaforever is a Troll—and I base that upon seeing her/him/it lying in many threads on many different subjects. He/she/it likely went through this video until she could isolate that split second where she/he/it could say “hey, look at this, the other officers are restraining the rogue cop” and fool the unknowing. Of course any person who actually looked at the whole video (such as you and I) would know that was not the case.
I don’t know why she/he/it trolls....whether she’s being paid to do it or he is doing it as a result of some sort of mental or personality defect.
